Elaia is a sweet little property right in the heart of Pergamon old town. Vedat is a kind and hospitable owner who makes fantastic breakfasts and goes out of his way to help in any way he can. Would strongly recommend staying here when visiting Bergama.
This hotel is located in the heart of old Bergama and offers a charming pool area with a terrace and garden. Guests can make use of a well-equipped common kitchen.

Local otogard ( coach station) is almost deserted so travellers need to be told about the regular transit bus service to the town/ hotels

Bergama is one of the Stops that I did for the Bike tour in Izmir. Pergamum Acropolis is the main highlight of the area and worth the visit.
The town is quite quaint and was a refreshing change from the city where I came from.
I was travelling on a bike - so getting around town is quite easy enough, walking through town was also pleasant.
Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes - as the city is on cobbles and quite hilly.
Across from the Bergama Museum - there is a nice outdoor Beer Garden where one can have some kebabs and beer.

It is a must seen site.
It is a must seen site. Both Akropol and Asklepion are one of the best in ancient history.
Lovely landscape and rich history. Please do not expect night life here. Todays Bergama town might be a little difficult to drive around, cause it has narrow, one way streets like in Spain, but GPS works really well. It is safe for solo travelers too.
It is charming , family run hotel with just 3 rooms inside.
We loved it at first sight .
Vadat is so much kind and caring owner
All hotel is renovated from old greek house and it is done with perfect taste and love to place
Close to main visiting places in Bergama
Beautiful rooms, very clean and cozy.
Amazing blossoming rambling jasmine and olive tree in the center of small yard is giving a soul to the space
Place is kind of beautiful escape into calming past from modern life
Great place. Staff, restaurant, pool, breakfast - all amazing. The room was outdated but exactly as shown on the photos so no surprises.
Location really good for visits to the Pergamon ancient city. Don’t get fooled by signs telling you the walk back down to the hotel from the Pergamon is 6 hrs. It is not and well worth the effort.
We didn’t get out of the hotel much bc we really enjoyed it there but it seems Bergama itself has some rather nice spots.
This is a hotel in a small village in the hills. It is a 30 minute drive either to Bergama or to the beach.
The rooms are basically just standalone stone buildings. The owners are a charming family that do everything they can for you to feel amazing! It is quiet and comfortable (aside from the Mosque that may wake you up early in the morning).
The breakfast and the dinner in the evening (included!) are delicious and tasty!
Very friendly staff, always helpful telling about the area, sightseeing, where to go, where to eat etc.
Hotel was very calm, silent and in an excellent location, close to all temples and touristic areas.
We felt very safe, comfortable. We have two small children, they enjoyed the pool area and the garden of the hotel.
The staff were very kind, they even woke around 4am to let us out..
The Aristonicus is a beautiful hotel, located at the foot. of the Acropolis. We walked up early one morning. We were the first into the site, which we had to ourselves for the first hour. The hosts are immensely accommodating. Each evening, we enjoyed wine, cheese, and fruit in the courtyard. The hotel is excellent value for money. Thank you!
ELovely Day Receptionists with good english from Macedonia.
..and for the Bergama Akropolis..goats and cattle are everywhere in the ruines. So i say; when goats and cattle can go around for free, I can! Go uphill pass the big gate and the few houses and then try up the goattreks a way and your inside.Nobody is checking people.
Well located in the middle of Bergama, yet quiet and closed-in property, so it is well protected from unwanted intruders. Very kind and helpful staff. Speak perfect English. Lovely Turkish breakfast. Comfortable, clean and spacious room. We recommend this hotel to everyone who wishes a pleasant and quiet stay.
Beautiful hotel from an 1881 converted seminary. The rooms are comfortable and clean in the historic setting. The location is great to both visit Pergamon and walk into the city for dinner. We did not stay for breakfast, however the hotel was kind enough to make us tea before we departed early in the morning.
The breakfast was wonderful- delicious and our table was overflowing with breakfast options. One of the best breakfasts we had in Turkey!
We ate dinner there as well which was also very good with excellent service and food. The staff was so friendly, helpful, and thoughtful. Lovely outside sitting areas.
-Staff super kind and offering a very professional service. Very familial treat.
- Beautiful place ! Old restored building with views to the acropolis and the city of Bergama. Amazing!
- Terrace for the breakfast was very cute and enjoyable, with views.
- The location was in a cute area
I have to start with the price, because this was unbelievably inexpensive. The hotel is not in a great location for restaurants or nightlife, but the cost makes up for that. The room was fine, with the bathroom a little tighter than I would like. Overall, a pleasant place to stay
The best thing about this hotel is the breakfast, which was diversified and tasty. I especially appreciated the individually-controlled AC. The reception staff was kind. The pool looked inviting, but we did not try it. The hotel grounds were quiet and we were able to rest.
Hotel was near to the Bergama museum and not too far from other attractions. Breakfast was a little basic with not a great choice but was a buffet. A small thing but I do like refillable soaps rather than the waste of bottles!
This beautifully restored historic, charming hotel is perfectly located with a wonderful view from the terrace. Breakfast was excellent - fresh local produce. The owners are very friendly, lovely local people.
We only stayed one night, but the experience was good. The hotel has just a few rooms, it is cozy and has a character. It feels very relaxed and a very personable owner just adds to the feeling.
The place is very centrally located and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond with helping us get a parking spot right at the front of the hotel.
