We were island hopping through Thailand for our honeymoon and I decided to book Sand in My Shoes as our last stop as my husband had not yet experienced Koh Phangan. I was a little hesitant to end the honeymoon in a sleepy little village on a part of the island I had not yet been to, but it turned out to absolute perfection and complete paradise! We had tossed up on whether to stay at Sand In My Shoes or Anantara and after venturing through Anantara whilst there, I am really happy we ended up where we did as this boutique beachfront hotel was absolute bliss! The food was incredible. The coffee the best we had had in Asia. The beach was perhaps my new favourite in all of Thailand (and I have travelled extensively throughout). The staff were so lovely (special shout out to Tae who checked us in and organised our transfer back to Samui airport!). We stayed in the beach loft overlooking the ocean and it was simply stunning. The room was spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the deck was our favourite place to watch the sunrise each morning and then enjoy a drink in the evenings - we simply couldn't fault our stay. We will most definitely be returning and can't wait to do so! Thank you to all of the staff who made our stay incredibly special and such a highlight of our honeymoon!

Very friendly staff throughout the resort. Our room (pool villa grande) was very nice and was cleaned to a good standard each day. Excellent location, right by the small village with a good selection of bars and restaraunts, yet still doesn't feel too commercialised. Taxi service to Pan Yai beach was very well priced and efficient. Breakfast was delicious and the food at the Pool Deck was pretty good, too. Good speedboat service from Samui - highly recommend this.

Very nice hotel on the beach, the pool is really big and usually not too busy, the restaurant overlooks the beach and serves very nice food (we only had thai food), fruit shakes were delicious. All staff are very friendly and helpful, particularly the lady on reception... comfortable bed, nothing much to complain about... there is one street outside with little supermarkets and a couple of restaurants, there is a tour organiser and a place to hire mopeds... we just travelled by taxi which reception arranged... generally a very pleasant and relaxing experience. Snorkelling off the beach was fantastic.

We loved our stay in bamboo seacroft village - it was a nice little getaway from the party side of the island. The huts were so earthy and lovely, the accomodation also had a shared kitchen ready to use, a pool and much more. Everything important is a 5-minute walk away: 7-11, great food (we recommend Mamas Kop), bike rental, gym (a bit further away) and much more! The staff was lovely and all of our questions were answered quickly. We couldn’t get enough of the peaceful mornings in bamboo village and can’t wait to come back! The full moon party is further away, but taxis are nearby 24/7 so you don’t have to worry about that.
