Little house in the jungle, a/c was operational, bed comfortable. It's well located within the village. Staff was nice. For the price I guess it's really ok.

On of our favorite places on our trip. Junglehuts; basic but well maintained and a real "jungle-vibe". Travelling with kids who loved it. We had more of a National park - local jungle experience from staying a the hotel than our stay on the lake 😄 The place is a little out of town so you get the nature and tranquility but with easy acces to the town as you can either rent scooters cheap at the hotel, or ask them to drive you. Family owned; really nice family, nice restaurant for hanging out....We stayed about a week and it was not too much at all :)
Rock and Tree House Resort is a 5-minute drive from Khao Sok National Park. It offers air-conditioned bungalows with garden view and free WiFi.

The location felt isolated which was really nice, and being in the jungle was cool too, wild animals roaming around. The main strip wasn't too far away either, and the tours were so easy to book at the hotel.
Offering a restaurant and soothing massage treatments, Tree Tops River Huts is set amidst a well-nurtured garden on the boundary of Khaosok National Park.

The resort was ideally located near the entrance to the national park, ideal for backpackers. There are lots of restaurants nearby as well as mini mart with ATM machines
If you want to do a lake trip it’s about an hours drive from this resort.

This place seems to have become quite touristic.
This place seems to have become quite touristic. The one day tour is a sham. Long time traveling with some quick stops to take a quick picture. The cave is just walking in line to see a few bats. The jungle tour is just a hike though the jungle up a creek. All the animals have left here as probably 1000 people crush this path every day. I guess if you want to see some raw nature you have to hire a private guide for more days and go deeper and wait until all the day trippers have left.

A lovely spot, staff was excellent.
A lovely spot, staff was excellent. Meals were very reasonable and VERY fresh ingredients, lots of options. Lots of sitting areas, a pool and a “sky walk” constructed outside the main entrance for guests.

The one day lake tour at the national park was amazing.
The one day lake tour at the national park was amazing. Going with a boat to go lunch, swim and walk. The walk was great. You have to wear closed shoes because you are going to get really wet until your belly button. The town khao sok was not much. It was 1 street. But it was cozy. The khao sok homestay resort is a place I would not recommend. It was also very far from the town

Khao Sok is a beautiful national park with lush rainforest, towering limestone formations seen nearby rivers and at Cheow Lan lake and a variety of wildlife. It is a stunning place to visit with lots of nature and activities to do - we went canoeing along a river for a couple of hours and spotted birds, tree frogs, giant lizards and bee hives up on the limestone mountains. Cheow Lan lake is a must - we planned a day trip with Khao Sok private tours, and really enjoyed the longboat ride exploring the lake spotting monkeys and elephants on the shore. We hiked in the jungle and saw many birds and lizards and heard gibbons up in the trees. Swimming in the lake was such a memorable experience in this beautiful and peaceful setting - like soaking in a warm bath! The mekong catfish in the lake (and there are many!) don't come near you when you swim. We stopped off at Panvaree and got to kayak too, which was great fun. The lunch there was outstanding and you can enjoy a quiet meal with beautiful views from the balcony.
We had a wonderful stay. Staff was very friendly, rooms were nice and clean. We loved the garden. Staff helped us book 2 different tours which was nice to do it from the premises. One tour got canceled due to elephants with babies walking in the national park on the roads. This was something that was unforeseen and of course no one’s fault. Owners were very considerate about this and returned our money without questions asked. Helped us look into alternatives. Would highly recommend staying here when in Khao Sok.
Not much to do here, the "town" is a jumping off point for visiting Khao sok np. On checking in they give you a warning about the monkeys (they will come in the room if the sliding door isn't locked) 😆 Wonderful being by the river, and in the morning and evening we enjoyed watching the monkeys! We stayed in two different rooms, the mountain view definitely got cooler, the river view the AC struggled a bit in the afternoon. (But the river view had more monkey watching and a better view!!)
Food onsite was delicious and reasonably priced, the staff were so lovely and really catered to everyone’s needs and are really helpful when booking the Khao Sok national park tours. Good location, quite close to town. Staff provided me and my friend with bicycles which were great for cycling into town and looking at the views nearby! Toilets and showers were clean and tents were comfy and had electricity and fans.
This place is really unique. They are in the process of expanding the reception area and what looks like a large deck. Unfortunately the water feature wasn't running while we were here. As with most of the hotels we've stayed at in Thailand, this one has a lot of wear showing but I still really enjoyed my stay and the staff were so, so friendly and helpful booking excursions for us.
Almost everything was perfect. The view is breathtaking, the staff is amiable, and the food is good. The rooms were small, but I was ready for it. We ordered a rafflesia tour in the hotel, which was a fantastic experience. One of the entrances to Khao Sok National Park is situated very close to the hotel, so you don't need to drive there - it takes 1 minute to reach it.
What makes a stay at this place special is first of all the very friendly and amazing staff. They planned several activities and tours with us, e.g. a day trip by long tail boat in Khao Sok national park. After our activities we enjoyed ice cold beer at the hotel bar with a stunning view over the jungle. Thank you for the great time. We would highly recommend.
lovely place to stay, literally at the doorstep of the entrance to the Khao Sok national park, the beds are comfy and rooms are clean. the staff are very friendly and helpful, our favourite was Snook who checked us in, was very helpful friendly and funny, she helped us book the tours we wanted to do and the restaurant does amazing food.
Would like to thank people who are looking after the hotel Nature place Khao Sok for their great care, cleanliness of the hotel, politeness and helpfulness as they made our staying in Khao Sok really great and unforgettable by accommodating all our needs and requests. Thank you for the organization a truly great tours!
We had a perfect one night stay on our way to Khao Sok National Park. The grounds are beautiful, and it was so lovely to wake up in the morning with our view overlooking the river and jungle sounds. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Glad we stayed here instead of Surat Thani.
This place is run with passion and you are surrounded by nature. The owner was very kind and helped at choosing and organizing tours to the Khao Sok National Park and much more. The staff was exceptionally friendly and the room was clean. Probably our best stay in Thailand so far.
Good value accommodation, very near the national park and the main village of Khao Sok.
The property kindly let us leave our large bags with them overnight when we stayed on the lake. They also arranged a bus to take us to our next location.
the woman who runs this hotel makes a 10/10
family run hostel in the perfect location
great tours and lovely banana pancakes!!
clean toilets and showers, spacious room with lockers
what more could you ask for for Khao Sok!
The owner was so kind and knowledgeable about all of the tours in the area! We booked a really fun night safari through the hostel, as well as an overnight on the lake.
Our room was also comfortable and clean.
We had a very relax and calm stay at the Top Hill Resort. We loved the tent and the facilities. Also the staff is amazingly friendly.
The area are beautiful and the Khao Sok Natural Park is amazingly beautiful.
I am happy to choose this hotel. We are traveling with three children. Famly time bungalow perfect spends time in Khao Sok Park. The location is beautiful, the resort itself is in nature and has lovely decor.
beautiful spot, really close to the national park (which was the reason we were there). we did a tour through the hotel to see the Khao Sok Cheow Lan Lake and enter the Coral Cave and it was excellent.
Nicest staff, excellent breakfast (with a vegan option of avocado toast), and perfect location in Khao Sok Village but also right beside the national park
