Great hotel, lovely pool area and the rooftop terrace views are unreal! Pok and the team made us feel very welcome. Bit further out from the centre than others but nothing a 10 minute scooter ride doesn't sort out! Would highly reccomednd booking the opium to anyone you won't be disappointed.

Room/Bathroom is okay size and cheaper than others with free parking, but the bed and mattress are super uncomfortable, very old and worn out so I ended up with serious back/body pain during my stay. However the sheet and linen are fresh and clean. WiFi and shower sucks. The shower is very poor and need to be maintained/replaced. Breakfast is free of charge but only toast with filtered coffee and hot chocolate. I spent 3 nights here in a family room, the 1st night had problem with the aircon but all three nights had a serious problem with loud noises from the room above late night all night long. I had to call the reception for noise complaint during the night, but only helped a bit when I complained then the same problem occurred. They only provided us a single toilet roll for a family room of three and the bathroom floor would always be wet after a single shower use so not recommend for old guests with wet bathroom and slippery floor in bedroom. Pool is just for kids due to its size and location (in dining area).

Home-like Atmosphere: True to its name, The51Hometel provided a cozy and homely ambiance throughout my four-night stay. Their warmth and hospitality made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived, and where helpful as to where I should celebrate Songkran. Luxurious Bathtub: The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the luxurious bathtub in my room. While it took a moment to fill up, once it did, I could have spent hours soaking in its blissful comfort. It was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring.
