I was in Koper for a conference at the University and this hostel was ideal for a working trip. Clean, good facilities, all in full working order, and very comfortable and quiet - not a rowdy place at all when I was there in March.
There's a kitchen to make breakfast or a cafe attached to the hostel, and Koper is full of bakeries and nice places to eat. The hostel is super central in Koper's very beautiful old town, ideal for exploring!

But the best was the owner of the apartment, Tjasa, very kind and always ready to help us for everything. We asked to help us with trains and buses and she found all options. That was very helpful for us,so I must say thank to Tjasa one more time.

Its well-preserved medieval old town, characterized by narrow winding streets and charming squares, transports visitors to another era. With its welcoming atmosphere, stunning waterfront views, and rich cultural heritage, Koper is a hidden gem along the Adriatic coast that promises an enchanting and memorable experience for travelers.

Loevly old part town of city, and long promenade is perfect to walk and watch sunsets. Mornarček fish house was a good place to have sea food, a bit steep price but good portions. On friday there were open air street concerts, you can feel the city vibe. The saddest thing is the city beach. Really small and of course crowded.

The sea was still cold. We went cycling and hiking. Beautiful cycle path: Parenzana. We went from Trieste to Piran. It's a shame that small engines also use it. Heated seawater thermal bath in Portoroz.

Koper is a very nice place where you can find various inns, shops, pastry shops... You can also find beautiful views and walking paths. I recommend a hike from Koper to Izola along a well-maintained walking path. It is also a very pet-friendly place, although you have to pay attention to the signs where pets are not allowed to relieve themselves.

A wonderful medieval town with so many of the original buildings (Venetian style architeture) intact. Clean and tidy except for lots of graffiti which didn't matter because it was all in Slovenian! Very little crime I was told and people seemed to leave phones cameras beside them without worrying
Everything in the old town within easy walking distance but be careful of uneven paving stones if you are a bit wobbly on your feet.
Cafe Loggia in main square good place for coffee and toasties.
Lots of fresh fish in restaurants and Slovenian traditional food too. Lots of varieties of ice cream but be aware that their "scoops" are twice as big as here.
Try the orange wine it's lovely (but not made from oranges as I thought at first). Buy "flowers of salt" made in salt pans the traditional way near Piran (another lovely town to visit nearby)
Bikes to rent (including electric) in many outlets in town.
I travel for business and always enjoy returning to the Medved and Capraria apartments. Manager Maja is very attentive and ensures everything is clean, which is my top priority. I drive to the house, drop off my luggage, buy a parking permit for €3/day, and park my car at Spar, which is nearby, about a 5-minute walk away. The apartment is in the center of the old town, and I have everything within walking distance. I only need the car if I leave Koper.
The apartment was very Clean and modern, the host and her family were absolutely welcoming and very nice set of people. Her husband, her son and her daughter were so kind. I wouldn't ask for more beyond what they have given.
The apartment was so bright and spacious, the view from the balcony on a morning coffee is so stunning. Above all I Learnt few words in Slovenian with them :)
I love everything about the apartment and the host.
Atmospheric apartment on the outskirts of Koper in a lovely, quiet area. Very easy to get to the highway, excellent base for exploring the coastal area of Slovenia and Trieste. Very friendly owner, they live upstairs and have their own olive trees and wine. Fully equipped kitchen and ample space. Due to the weather we didn't use the outside sitting area but this definitely is a further advantage of the place.
Loved this apartment so much! The AC was a life saver as it was 97F in Koper ever day while we were there!
I can not say enough about the location!!! Amazing!
Less than 10 minutes walk to anywhere you'd want to go in Koper and only a 30 minute drive from some main attractions close by- Predjama Castle and Postojna Cave.
My kids asked if we could make this a regular vacation spot we all loved it so much!
I had a couple of changes on my flight coming into Slovenia, and Tina was very accommodating with each of the changes. The lights were left on for us, and a bottle of red wine was chilled and ready. Tina and her family were available for the length of our stay, yet we were also given a lot of privacy. We also loved the patio area where we had our early morning coffee.
Hosts were really friendly and helpful. The appartment was cozy and well equipped, and the area quite peaceful. Free Wifi. Location is out of town Koper in Bertoki, but for us it wasn't a problem, especially cause there were a grocery, a restaurant (gostilna) and a bus stop just 100 meters from the appartment. A one-way bus ticket to Koper costs just 80 cents.
The hotel was convenient to the bus and train station which was the main basis for us choosing it. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They were very accommodating in providing us with an early check in when we arrived in Koper. A quaint "old style" hotel accommodation. Convenient to shops and some cafes/restaurants.
The appartment is located within walking distance to the center of Koper. It is quiet spacious and clean. The free parking is close by, great when you come by car. Mustafa is very helpful and trustworthy. We left something valuable behind and he made every effort to return it to us. Thanks again.
Nice, fully equipped appartment suitable for five people.
The new Žusterna beach reachable by foot, though you have to climb 60 m on the way back.
Private parking slot was provided to us, because public parking use to be full in evenings.
The place is in the perfect location and close to everything Koper has to offer. It was also very clean and pleasantly decorated. The owner and his girlfriend were very nice, friendly and hospitable! Perfect stay for young couples
Host was very helpful. We had issues with car hire Budget letting us down by closing office at the airport early. We could only get to Koper the morning after. Host was very helpful and flexible .
Koper is rather small but still the location of the hostel is amazing 🤩 close to everything! I loved that. The lady that checked me in was really nice (I used Google translate to communicate)
Zorana was amazing, really patient and helpful. Helped us a lot where to park and what to see. Location was also perfect. Highly recommend to everyone who is looking where to stay in Koper.
The location was perfect, in between Koper & Izola.
Lovely view. Everything was very clean, in the kitchen you have all the tools.
Bathroom very nice!
The owner was really nice
Grand Koper has an excellent sea view and outstanding location near sea.
Staffs are kind and nice.
However, the standard bedroom was so small as to hardly move around.
