A very clear & well kept hotel. Superb breakfast especially the chef who is very friendly and do his job with passion. Room was spacious and with nice views of the mountains. Nothing to complain about especially the area of the hotel which is a very quite and tranquil area.

great location, really beautiful. Close to the waterfall and river trails. staff was so helpful, gave us tips on the area and modern hotel. The breakfast was SO good. I highly recommend this hotel!

We had lovely homemade ice creams from a shop in the centre. We also had a meal at Pizzerija Crna Ovca which was set in a quiet location with outdoor seating. The beers and pizzas were great as was the service. Would highly recommend both. We did a 2-2.5 hour walk on the edge of Bovec which started near the gondola station/ spar shop roundabout. We planned a stay for skiing, however, the Slovenian part of the Kanin - Sella Nevea ski resort was closed without clear and well-communicated notice - just the sentence "Kanin ski resort will not operate in the winter season 2023/24." on the official website https://www.kanin.si/en/... We were forced to travel daily to the Italian part of the resort (35 km each way with about 100 curves on the road). And just half of the combined resort in Italy was too small for us. Canyoning is extraordinary experience. Very nice place to visit and swim in Velika Korita and Lepena. Loved our stay here. Difficult to get here without a car- long bus ride and limited services but manageable. 3 days is enough here. There are so many activities available in the Summer, we did zip lining, white water rafting and canyoning. The locals were all so helpful and friendly. Gorgeous location and everything reasonably priced.

Bovec is always a great place to stay.
Bovec is always a great place to stay. With its natural backdrop it is beautiful in any time of the year and a great starting point to many outdoor adventures - skiing, hiking, cycling, zip lining, canyoning, paragliding and much more. The locals are friendly and full of good ideas what to do in their town. The only down side is lack of good restaurant options during the week in the off-season :(JericaSlovenia

Good location to be able to explore the Soca Valley and take part in various activities. We did a 10 mile, very scenic hike from the hotel. Rooms very modern and very generous size, with good views of the mountains. We were able to book the sauna/hot tub area for one hour private use, which is included within the stay. This was fabulous, sited on the roof of the hotel with great panoramic views. A relaxing experience after our hike.

The restaurant was always packed, but the people at the Sovdat made sure to get us a private terrace table, which is clutch as there are few places to eat dinner in Bovec. She didn't speak english, but spoke Slovenian and German. The bathroom is shared amongst a couple guest rooms. The decor reminded me of my grandmother's house, which is to say that it is not modern and sleek like a hotel, but it has a charming appeal nonetheless.
