Beautiful location overlooking Lake Siljan. There is safe access to the water at the lakeside. Tallberg comprises mainly hotels and private residences so there is not a lot to do there, but it is extremely relaxing and probably much busier in high season. June is a great time to visit. Road links to nearby Rattvik and Leksand are good and there are many restaurants and shops in both towns. Rattvik is a lively place. Tällberg is a very cute, small town with relaxing restaurants and views. There is a small lake bath where you can go swimming. The view over lake Siljan is stunning. A lot of handcraft and good food, but expect it to be a bit pricey.LouiseGermany

We stayed in the main building and everything was easily accessible for my elderly parents. I celebrated my 60th birthday there and it was perfect with a beautiful mini suite and excellent food and wine. It’s a bit expensive but at least we felt it was worthwhile. So rare to find a good hotel that also has a good restaurant. The outdoor heated pool was a lovely place to relax.

It had everything we needed - refrigerator and coffee station, bathroom had lotions and washclothes. There were chargers for electric/hybrid cars and plenty of parking. Very beautiful location. I appreciated getting a message that a dinner reservation would be a good idea. We made one and the restaurant was packed when we left.
