We could not possibly have found anywhere better and I would like to emphasise that. The house was in such an idyllic peaceful spot in the forest overlooking meadows, where we saw deer. We loved the sound of the breeze in the trees. The house was very comfortable inside and every detail of the renovation had been carefully thought about. There was a lovely kitchen, dining room and lounge. There was a good bathroom with shower and lots of hot water. There was a separate room with whirlpool massage bath. There was a verandah which caught the afternoon and evening sun. There were two comfortable bedrooms upstairs and a balcony for coffee in the morning sun. Harrieth was very kind, helpful and welcoming.
The house was well placed for all the activities of the region and we were very successful with our fishing in Lake Vanern and at Dals Langed.

The location is super great. You can go hiking and it even has a ski area. The host is really super friendly and speaks many languages.
The food was really delicious and we can highly recommend the accommodation.

Beautiful little cottage which has space for even 4 people. We even had a little corner to sit with 2 comfy chairs and a sofa.
We had a stunning view over the canal and the lake.
Unfortunately we just booked 2 nights... we could have stayed longer. :)
Please be aware that you have to bring own bedlinen or you rent it there. The price is reasonable. As well as you clean yourself or you just pay a little fee. But all fine.

We will highly recommend Visitor Stugby and Dalsland. Did you know that alone in Dalsland they have over 2000 lakes.....unbelievable but true.

Centrally located at the lock system in Haverud - just a few metres to the tour boat as well. The hostel maybe doesn`t look like much from the outside - but its a gem from the inside. Spacious, clean, well furnished... I liked everything about it. Also: very frienly personal.
