The location is good and the staff was very nice and accomodating. The room was big and the toiletries were high-end, and even if some were in bigger containers, they were full and didn't seem used. Filtered water was provided in nicely labelled glass bottles, a very good mix of premium and environmentally friendly at the same time as opposed to plastic bottled water you get elsewhere. Breakfast was very good for the low occupancy that was at the moment and the staff was constantly circling around to refill things.

Very nice place to stay at.
Very nice place to stay at. People are friendly and locals is there to help you if you are lost or need help. almost all restaurants are awesome. BUT, do not go the grill called "La nevasta Mofturosa" close to Belvedere. It is a total disaster with chef cannot cook and being ruud if you complain about food being total mess! He screams and threatnes with police if you don´t pay for food you tasted and find uneatible....... So a big WARNING for this scam place! Otherwise Mangalia is a great place to be!

Very friendly to families with children.
Very friendly to families with children. No clubs, no loud music, no teenagers. Excellent place to stay and enjoy family time. Not so expensive as other areas (e.g. Mamaia). No stress, no rush. Not so many people.

It's very good for a family excursion, or just for a weekend evade. The harbour is nice, you can take on a boat trip on the sea or the Danube. Nice coast alley for walks. Small and cute place. If it’s sunny I could stay there for a week, but since it was cloudy it became a bit boring. Nothing much to do. None of the restaurants had English menu, so that made eating out a bit hassle.MariaNorway - 10Scored 10
Mangalia, port at the Balck Sea, is a nice city which looks...
Mangalia, port at the Balck Sea, is a nice city which looks better and better. Has a very nice promenade, which connects it with the other resorts Saturn, Venus etc. There are a lot of hotels, cafes and restaurants for all budgets. You can arrive there by train or by car. In august it used to be held a music festival there, namely Callatis Festival, which was one of the largests music and culture festival held in Romania. The festival was held on a barge that is docked at Mangalia Marina. Mangalia is very close to 2 Mai and Vama Veche resorts (only 10 km).

It had everything you would need for a comfortable visit to Mangalia: a small fridge, a hot water kettle, a wine/beer bottle opener (really appreciated that), a working television, wi-fi, good bathroom and a little table out on the terrace, which is a lovely place to have a snack and catch up on your emails. It was very peaceful and the hostess was sweet. I highly recommend it, especially to those on a budget. It is well worth every RON spent.

The rooms on the upper floor are really nice and spacious, with sea view but with trees in front, the trees in front of the building are just wonderful in june when they bloom. You can always have a short walk on the promenade in front of the hotel. You can remotely hear the waves. You can eat in the restaurant next door. The front yard shrubs are nicely maintained. We liked the little playground where our kid could play while we enjoyed a coffee and beer. The bar does not have too many food choices but it's alright for some drinks. They had a movie night too. Rooms have AC. Balcony with sea view is definitely worth it.
