The location of the hotel was excellent. It was a good walk from the train station and was close to the old city with all the tourist destinations but away from the noise of nightlife.
The staff were very obliging allowing us to drop our bags off before checkin and after we had checked out so that we could explore easily. They also gave us great directions to the market and the layout of the city.
I liked that it was an eco concious hotel.

Lovely historic old building with acres of public rooms and extensive garden area; like staying in a palace rather than a monastery. Our room was in the modern wing with up to date facilities and had a fantastic view over the city. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of car parking.
