The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and clean. The large sliding glass doors allowed for exceptional views looking over Velas and the surrounding mountains from every room. Breakfast was the typical buffet style. All in all This a great place to stay in São Jorge.

Absolutely fantastic stay. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet with lots of extras, including lots of towels, soap, tea, and hot water kettle. Check in was easy. The host always responded immediately and was very helpful.

Breakfast was great, lots of fresh choices grown or made on property. The pool was well maintained and a nice size. The location is wonderful with a great view to Pico and beautiful countryside. The apartment was the perfect size for one or two people, comfortable bed with nice shower, kitchenette and shared patio. Nicely located on a hill just above Velas, with beautiful views of Costa Sudoeste, Casa Dos Lagos provided a serene experience. Will stay there again! The manager was very kind and checked in to see if all was well after a storm. She was very informative on where to go and where to eat, and was flexible on check out given the late departure of the ferry. Very accommodating!
