Very friendly and helpful Host. You can sense it's a family-run place. The room is very clean and cute. Really appreciated the possibility to use the common kitchen and the washing machine. The location is in front of a supermarket and near a bakery. The perfect place where to start the Fisherman's Trail.

A typical seaside town that quietens down after the season.
A typical seaside town that quietens down after the season. We visited in February so almost everything was closed. It was lovely because there were no tourists and you could easily find a place in a restaurant (although it wasn't that easy to find an open restaurant). The center still has the feel of an old-type fishing village with tiny cute white and blue houses, but you can see and feel the pressure of the modern beach town which is just behind the old city center. Great beaches and amazing cliffs add to the attractiveness of Porto Covo both in winter and in summer.

Gorgeous spot to visit if you want to stear away from big crowds. Views are breathtaking with a bunch of beaches connected by caves and grottos. There really isn't much else there. A small little village with some eating facilities and a small supermarket. It's a perfect spot for one day and night. The fact that you can park your car wherever you please is also very nice.

Great location for beach goers, with multiple pristine, gorgeous coves in close walking proximity.
Friendly staff; we were upgraded to an ocean front view room and they were able to accommodate our request for a late checkout, last day of our trip so we were able to enjoy the beach before our long flight home.
Breakfast (included) was plentiful and offered many options.
Our trip included stays at 5 hotels, this was the only one that actually had a stocked mini fridge.

Porto Covo is an attractive little town with a small fishing harbour. The Main Street has a lot of very touristy shops. A fair choice of restaurants to eat in but nothing special. It was easy to get to using the very efficient Portuguese bus service and a good place to start walking the Rota Vicentina.

Beautiful little town. Nice restaurant.
Beautiful little town. Nice restaurant. Lovely little local fish and fruit market open in the mornings only. No main supermarket that I could see, only small local ones. But a beautiful beach and cove.

Sweet town, but very touristy feeling.
Sweet town, but very touristy feeling. Tour buses dropping people in, and the restaurants felt geared for tourists too. (though check out the pizza place in the main street, excellent).
Great view from the coastline but not a swimmable beach. Really central to some great day trips, but I think there are better towns in the area for a longer stay.
Check out the horseriding nearby, excellent.
The breakfast was delicious - lots of delicious fruit, homemade jams and local honey and bread all served on the lovely terrace.
We were only there three nights but would love to come again and participate in the activities Ocean House can organise.
Porto covo is a very pretty and relaxed town surrounded by breathtaking scenery. We went to three restaurants just minutes from ocean house, recommended by Vania, and all were very good - such a treat to have such fresh seafood. We were made to feel so welcome and would love to return.
This is the perfect place for a couple. The house is just the right size, with all you need to enjoy nature while being close to the beach. The outside is amazing, with a big terrace, a small pool, and complete privacy (not counting the occasional peeping cow.) The little kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need to prepare some simple meals, and the bedroom is big and spacious. The hosts were super nice and flexible even letting us check very late after we had car problems on the way. 10/10 would recommend it.
We really enjoyed our 2 night stay here in Porto Covo. The breakfast was incredible, mostly organic, and the rooms are really comfortable and quiet. Perfect base to explore some of the Rota Vicentina and the nature parks nearby.
Andre helped arrange a yoga class on their patio before breakfast which was a great way to start the day.
Parking was easy and there are a number of great restaurants in town (make sure to show up early to put your name in at Ze Ignacio!). Definitely recommend!
Great wee place right close to the centre of this idyllic little village. 1 minute walk to the town square and restaurants, and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Plenty of beds and towels etc. We only stayed one night so didnt have time to use the BBQ etc, but we did have breakfast on the terrace. Finding it was a little iffy, just park on the main square free parking and follow the instructions you receive via text the day before arrival. You have to walk the last 50m.
The house is perfectly situated just off the centre of Porto Covo, and yhe beaches. Communication from the owners was excellent, and getting in could not have been easier. The kitchen has everything you need, including a coffee machine with coffee pods. There is a large beautiful roof terrace with table, chairs and barbeque. The sitting room up stairs has a decent TV, and another coffee machine.
This is a very beautiful house that is well equipped, has nice furniture and is tastefully decorated. The garden faces the ocean and has chairs where it is nice to sit at sunset. It is quiet since it is one of the first houses of the village. It is easy to walk to the many beaches or to the restaurants in Porto Covo. We only used the car to go do hiking further away.
Fantastic amenities, wonderful host and amazing location. Our stay in Porto Covo was definitely enhanced by our stay at Pe Ne Areia. Our host was so helpful at recommending restaurants, places to visit and just generally a lovely person. Short walk to the beach, shops and everything you’d need! Convenient to have a market across the street too.
The location is great. It’s right next to the cliffs and a small beach access. It’s clean and the common area was comfortable. Staff is friendly. The bunk beds in the dorm are what you’d expect, just okay. There’s a big storage closet with a couple shelves and a couple hangers. There’s a pool. Breakfast is awesome. It’s a quite location.
We had a very pleasant experience where the host received us at the time we advised we were arriving. We arrived in Porto Covo on Rede Expresso bus and the the property was very close. The Host explained everything in the property and was very helpful with directions and suggestions for dining.
Very nice location, with our own bathroom and clean common kitchen to use.. Space was little bit tight but very clean and peaceful. Just the beds were to soft. And there is an amazing bakery just behind the corner, as well as the beach with the most fantastic views.
Wonderful central location, walk to beach and restaurants. Very good, complete breakfast served in nice, spacious room and open until 11:00, great for late risers like us. Large pool. Comfortable bedroom/bath. Very convenient free covered garage w/ easy access.
Modern, chilled accommodation with fantastic location. Cannot be better situated, great beaches litterally on your doorstep. Awesome views; and a swimmingpool.
Lots of options for the day!
Awesome breakfast included to start your day.
The owner is beyond kind, I had a car accident 2 blocks from the location, she came to the location of the accident was very kind and took our luggage to the hotel, once our car was not able to drive.
Nice breakfast !!
Excellent location to stay in Porto Covo. Very easy to walk around the small city, head to the beach and see the amazing view. The hostess that handed me the keys was super nice and friendly!
Very beautiful and cute apartment, well equipped and comfortable. Close to the beach and the town. The beaches in the area are stunning. Would stay in Porto Covo and in the apartment again.
