Wow, what a find! Beautifully appointed room, lovely staff and a special mention of the amazing breakfast. We couldn't believe the choice for such a fair price. Free off street parking was a bonus. We did drive into the old town as it is a bit of a walk but you could do it, lovely area to walk around with heaps of restaurants and bars. Laundromat just around the corner in case that's important to you (we needed it!)

We've stayed here twice and each time was great. The restaurant is very good, and since options are limited in town, I would recommend eating here at least once. The view is exceptional. Be sure to book a tour of the Burel factory in Manteigas. Hiking locally is also amazing, especially in the late spring early summer.
