The area was full of Quality built property with lots of trees,there were a good choice of supermarkets,the beaches were good,plenty of resturants
bars and cafes,there was a nice small park.I dont go out drinking and I did not have details of any alternative evening activities,except for the excellent 4 evenings of musical entertainment at cascais festival. I ate all my meals at save the world hostels as it was my plan to walk and sight see in the morning take a break at lunchtime and do the same in the afternoon and read my books as well.Pingo Doice supermarket you could
get a cup of coffee and a custard tart in their cafe for 1 euro.At Aldi Supermarket you could buy a packet of Markus Bio ground coffee (exc)

Monte Estoril is good quality a residencial area . You have nearby Cascais, Sintra, Guincho and a million of things to do. Very good restaurantes, a very good nigth life, never ending number of beaches and so on.
