Great location and the staff are super welcoming, nice and professional. We got a bedroom upgrade once we got there and a lovely welcoming text card with some chocolates which I loved it!

Mafra is a quiet little town with great historical value, complemented by the quality of the local bread, pastries and food in general. Another bonus is its location, very close to Lisbon, Sintra, as well as several great beaches, such as Ericeira.

Mafra is a very interesting city.
Mafra is a very interesting city. If you are lucky you can enjoy a concert of 6 organs in the basilica of the Palacio Nacional de Mafra. Mafra can be reached by car from Lisboa airport or Belem in less than 45 minutes if there is no heavy traffic. It is possible to visit Batalha, Tomar, Cabo Carvoeiro and Opidos in a day trip from Mafra. Alternative daytrips are Belem, Lisboa or Sintra. Mafra has fine restaurants with delicious traditional Portuguese cuisine.

Excellent local restaurants & cafes. Great food & value for money.
