This is a new hotel built in a rural area in the interior of Portugal. If you hire a car there is an abundance of things to see in the region. You feel sometimes as travelling back in the past mainly due to the old churches and manor houses. The spa facilities are a bonus. The breakfast was included and very good with plenty to choose from. We had dinner one night and the food was amazing. I would go back and happily stay for a week or even more!PaulaUnited Kingdom

First three nights in the villa with private pool and last two nights in bungalow next to hotel. Both very nice. We loved the breakfast. Great location to explore north Portugal (Porto, Braga, Guimares, national parks, hiking, etc). We upgraded for the suite and it was twice the size with a balcony and a view. Well worth the extra few $. The bed was very comfortable!
