The hotel was prime location. The staff was excellent and accommodating. In particular, a front desk staff (I think her name is Angel) went above and beyond to help me out with my SIM card situation. Generally all staff were pleasant, helpful, polite and welcoming.
The room, however had a very strong odor of chemicals- especially the bathroom. I’m sure, it’s necessary chemicals used to keep pests away. The mattress was thin and lumpy.
For a one- night accommodation, the hotel served its purpose for is. I’m not sure that I we would extend our stay if we had to.

I like Vigan for it's old world appeal especially at the very popular Calle Crisologo. I also like the friendliness of the people, the amazing plazas and the choices of restaurants available. Vigan has its own very unique charm and despite not being as modern as some of the more developed cities in the Philippines, it is just as, if not more interesting. This is definitely a place I would like to visit again.

Beautiful and historic. Very friendly people. Getting around is fairly easy. We took the Kalesa to tour the city. Really need to plan where to eat at early since most places close early enough. 1995 Studio Cafe is a great place for tea, coffee, smoothie and some food.

Calle Crisologo itself is beautiful and a great spot to take pictures especially at night, but beyond it there's not much to see and do. A one-day visit is enough, IMHO, as there are many more things to see and do around Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte.

Vigan is a lovely city with old world charm.
Vigan is a lovely city with old world charm. Uncharacteristically it is not crowded unlike much of the Philippines. The beaches are good, the old city is fun to explore and its one of the few places in Philippines where I wasn't stressed driving as there is little traffic, and so easy to get around. One of the cleanest places I have seen. Vigan take pride in their streets and surroundings and don't litter.

Great food, a lot of attractions within walking distance of each other, Calle Crisologo and the Cathedral are always a great idea, especially at night.
Must try eats: Irene's Vigan Empanada, Cafe Bigaa, Cafe Leona, Calle Brewery
Pasalubong: Irma's Longganisa and Bagnet, Tongson's Bibingka, Senorita Dulce
A perfect location for tourists in historical Vigan. Everything is in walking distance. There's an ATM, convenience store and plenty of horse and buggies just outside.
The Hotel is gorgeous, and the helpful, friendly staff maintain the heritage look in and out of the rooms.
The ground floor includes and independent restaurant with good food. The Hotel's own restaurant was closed for renovations when we stayed, so the staff offered breakfast in bed instead!
We had a wonderful stay and were thrilled with having chose this Hotel.
I love everything about Paradores de Vigan! The room given to us was clean and complete with the things we need. We're glad that kitchen, dinnerwares and cutleries are available in the room. The location is perfect, walking distance from Calle Crisologo and a few minutes drive to Vigan Market where you can buy bagnet and vigan longganisa for a cheaper price. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Will stay here again when we go back to Vigan.
The location is in a quiet area of Vigan Mestizo District; a leisurely 5-minute walk to Calle Crisologo. It's also a stone's throw to First Sinanglawan, where I had a nice breakfast of sinanglaw and arroz caldo. The amenities and facilities are quite standard for a boutique hotel, but what I really love is the very big space of the accommodation. The property owner is also very responsive to our needs and is very accommodating.
Very sulit for the price! The hotel ambiance was a big plus! Considering it's location, alongside the main street, privacy is not compromised. Kuya Rodney and ate Maicah were very friendly and accommodating and they went beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Overall stay was good.
We really like the buffet breakfast, there are many food choices and unlimited coffee and iced tea. Likewise, it is great to have a canteen (Cantina Mercante) in the hotel for it provides convenience and options for the guests to look for any available lunch or dinner after a tour of the city.
Breakfast for a fee is nice, family room is huge and clean. The people who manage the place is what made our stay exceptional. It is only about 10 minutes away from Vigan town proper. Tricycles are an option to get to Vigan if you want to avoid the hassle of finding a parking spot there.
Lodge super pet-friendly...
At first, I was worried. There wouldn't a place in Vigan City that would accept me and my fur baby. Thank goodness, I found this hotel last minute. Their protocols as they describe are very fair. Toshi, my baby and I had a splendid time.
The ambience in the entire hotel was really nice! It is conveniently located near Calle Crisologo which was our destination. The breakfast included in our stay was also good.
the hotel property is situated in prime location-that's one thing i really like it and its also suitable for us and to my mother to walk around the area.
