The Rasta smoothie were EXCELLENT ( main road behind Logon Beach) . The diving was something that will never be forgotten - Gato Island and the Thresher sharks with DIVE NATION - a wonderful team. It's a quaint little town enough to bring peace, relaxation and serenity. I like North beach a lot. Water is amazingly crystal blue clear! This is exactly what i was looking for. I had to ride in one of those motorbikes to get to North beach from where I stayed The locals are helpful and friendly, typical of the Filipino hospitality. The guy who took me to North beach referred me to the "market place" where i can buy cheaper food and as an alternative to the restaurants by the beach. I definitely enjoyed this place especially the beach.

It is a beautiful island filled with helpful people. Very close to beaches everywhere and a half days snorkling boat tour is offered to you constantly and very worth it. Snorkling with black tip sharks is super close. A lot of small shops and food places.

Great location at the corner of the island with the clean and beautiful private beach. Traditional looking huts with beautiful pavement and gardens in between. The staff arranged a private van and private boat for us for reasonable price - which cuts the travel time by half, we got from our hotel near Ayala in Cebu City to this beach resort in less than 3.5 hours. The staff is very friendly, helpful and always smiling. The cottages are great value for money.

Big room, the bed is very comfortable. All rooms are set around a beautiful garden. The resort is in the middle of town, but very quiet, a 5 to 10 min walk from the most popular beach and for 50 pesos you get a ride on the back of a motorcycle to the most beautiful beach on the north side of the island. Every morning a very good breakfast is served by the very nice local staff that’s running this place.

The staff really made this place! I had an injury and with there being no doctor on the island, the staff really went out of their way to look after me. They kept checking up on me and managed to find me some medication and cheer me up. The room was spotless and the dorms were quiet and private. They have karaoke each night but they've installed sound proofing and you can't hear it from the dorm.

Large room. Little dim but worked. Bed was comfortable. AC worked. Attentive staff and very helpful. They packed us food when we had to leave on early morning scuba dive. They also assisted in arranging a taxi ride to Cebu airport. Breakfast was good and restaurant had a lot of choices. Being outside the city center we didn’t have to listen to roosters or dogs. Would book again.

We enjoyed our stay at Chavina-Joy. Both the owner and the caretaker were very friendly and helpful which is a huge plus. We felt welcome. The room was clean. Even though the accommodation is located in the middle of the island, it was an easy 20min walk to the South coast where our dive school was. We were fine to walk and explore the island.

Unfortunately we’re given the worst room possible, 1-st floor with almost no view (I’ve attached photo from the balcony). The hotel gave us 1000 discount for 2 nights for my son extra-bed, but I’ll choose to pay this and to have a better view. The staff is not very friendly… and the overall the hotel looks nice, the facilities are so-so..

Our room was small, but clean and the terrace was beautiful and comfortable, a perfect place to watch the sunset. The wifi worked perfectly. We definitely recommend this place to stay on this island!

Great place for our short stay on Malapascua Island. The hosts here were extremely helpful and allowed us to check in very early on our arrival, they gave us some good options for food nearby and on checkout they brought our bags down to the pier for us. The rooms and area is all very clean and spacious. All for great value.

It's very reasonable priced, the dorm has Aircon and curtains. They have restaurant on site so I could order breakfast before my morning dive. The place is so cheap that I met a lot of cool people (cheap places have the best people!) Shower had hot water and was cleaned often. Very clean dorm as well. Nice staff.

Overall, the property was ok. The rooms were quite nice - good size with confie beds and pillows. The filtered water and French press coffee was much appreciated. The communication via WhatsApp was super quick and very helpful. The manager helped us book our transportation from Cebu airport and back.
