The vacation house is the downstairs section of the house. Upstairs is a boarding house for students at the local university, but they were very quiet and didn't bother us. The living/dining room was comfortable, as was the bedroom. Bed was comfortable. We had a slightly difficult start because the lady who manages the house (Nita) had not been informed of our booking and was surprised and a bit annoyed when we first arrived. However after this she turned out to be very nice and friendly and helpful. Top marks for her. There are few places to stay on Guimaras, especially in Buenavista. Cozy Vacation House was about all that I could find. We needed to stay in Buenavista as it is close to my wife's family. There is accommodation elsewhere such as in Jordan but that was too far away for us, so I booked Cozy Vacation House.

Within Atria district, neear SM so it's easy to find. Clean and decent budget hotel. Manage your expectations. Staff was polite and helpful, especially with giving directions. With complimentary breakfast. Buffet is ok, usual Filipino breakfast. I skipped on my second day but the staff called to inform me in case I forgot. Linens and towels were a bit old but clean.
