The experience of staying on an actual beach ecosystem. We encountered a lot of curious crabs. The hostel's location is right at the both sides of the island: the ocean side and the laguna side with tranquil waters perfect for swimming. We rented a kayak to explore the mangroves.

I have seriously nothing but amazing things to say about Selina Playa Venao. To start off, the location is beautiful. You walk out of your room every morning to the waves, a sunrise, and the water all right there. Room was comfortable, there are pools across the beach, and a million other things. What stood out to me the most, was the people. I came out of my stay with lifelong friends, and an experience I didn’t think was possible. It feels like a community there, as in everyone is so positive and happy. I only stayed one week and wish I could stay forever. Being thousands of miles away from home, venao quickly became my second. Shoutout to Anthony at the front desk too, letting me use his iPad to finish work and other things. Could not recommend this place more!
