This is an independant small hotell owned and run by the granddaughter of the person who built it, and her husband. It is an old traditional wooden building built in 1923, piously refurbished and furnished with traditional furniture. Good beds. Lovely veiw from corner room we rented. Shared bathroom, but clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast served by owner.

The host can tell you all about the buildings history, what took place in the region during the early days of the hotel, and everything a history buff would love. Breakfast was excellent, with the best bread Norway has to offer and all the coffee you can drink. :) Undoubtedly, our most memorable stay in Norway.

The owner couple have made the experience very luxurious. The breakfast is refined and extensive. There are only a few rooms, and they are all beautiful. You are in a small farm compound with quaint barn structures and small fields next to a stream.RonaldUnited States of America

If you are for a large TV and internet in hotel room then this place is not for you! Instead watch the roe deer from the window!
