We stayed for four nights which is longer than an average stay in Amersfoort. We had expected to take a day trip to Utrecht but in the end there was too much to do in the old town.
This hotel is in a great spot for sitting and joining in with the crowd in the main tower square for evening drinks. It is a very good situation to the rest of the town's beautiful buildings to wander around . The room was very comfortable for the price and had a fridge, which is often unusual in budget hotels. There was renovation in other rooms, but this didn't affect us . A very comfortable and enjoyable stay

We liked the woodland setting, could hear the birds.
It was private and secure .Air con worked well. The beds and living room furniture were comfortable.
the hotel is located in great nature.outside the window is forest. air was nice and fresh.
we checked in at 0:00am. the receptionist is still open. and we get our room immediately.
The hotel itself looks like a classic German building. nice corridors with a Self service bar of hot/cold water, tea bags, coffee machine.
we didn’t use the breakfast there but there was free coffee available at the machine and nice cookies in a glass jar. the coffee and cookies were great.
Clever and creative deco in the dinning area and outdoor area. Tastefully furnished. Was impressed how the mission house and monastry were converted to a conference hotel and musical recital practice halls. The restaurant serves very good meal: the beef steak is a must try; love the side dish combination of sweet potato, corn & jalapeño.
The cleanliness was good, throughout the whole room and bathroom. Very decent hotel in a beautiful location. It did not exceed my expectations, but it was definitely good for a night. I would stay here again if all I needed was a simple room for a night.
The hotel is pleasantly eclectic. A former monastery and mission center, it displays art from Africa. The rooms are simple and comfortable. Downstairs is a very nice, modern (and unexpected) restaurant and breakfast area.
Cookies and tea are really good treats . Customer service is really good and room is comfortable.
Tha walking trails around the hotel and the outside is reat to relax in the nature without having to go far
It was nice that we could book with several rooms close to each other.
Breakfast options and varity of it all was great.
Rooms were clean.
Hotel is spacious and well located.
