I was in this hotel at the beginning of April 2024. The hotel smells terrible of food. The number of people in the hotel during the day at lunch is off the charts; they receive groups of people with a bunch of children arriving on buses. The rooms open onto a common courtyard, where everyone passing by looks into your room - it's terrible! Something is constantly happening on the lawn outside the window: people are running around with animals and yelling, smoking weed. There were huge spiders in my room. Dirty carpet.

Very convenient and pretty location. Our host went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The kitchen is perfectly adequate for self-catering. Beautiful walks and the lake. Good for bird watching and boating. Restaurants nearby - the Dock and De Eend.
