The room was really clean and spacious and equipped with a nespresso coffee machine and a fridge with free drinks. There are also a bath tub and a shower in the room. The bed was really comfortable and the hotel is located in a very quiet and magical area. There are restaurants and a bakery just around the corner. Walks around the water canals are spectacular... if you are looking for a magical ,relaxing and quiet place off the jazz of busy Amsterdam ... this is the place for you. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming. But the check in is in the restaurant on the otherside of the canal.

We actually did not explore Katwoude--we arrive late and had to leave early. We chose the hotel for its proximity to Marken, which we visited the next morning. Marken, about a 15 minute drive away, is absolutely charming and beautiful.
