Nice, friendly hotel with some of the windows looking right into the stables. The kids were extatic. Pleasant restaurant, helpful staff, everything was to the expectations. If anything, then I would have welcomed a bit of a change for breakfast selection, as we've stayed for 4 nights, but it was still ok.

I had cycled 100km to reach the hotel and as i approached the entrance, the door opened and I was greeted by two members of staff who welcomed me in, helped with my bags and showed me to my room. I had an incredible bath and headed down to dinner. Huge shout out to Mitch who looked after me, I ordered the days special and the chef brought it out to me and said "big portion for a big bike ride" - I honestly felt so looked after and cared for. The room was super comfortable, and again, the bath was incredible. The hotel itself is super interesting and very well designed and decorated throughout. It was a dream, honestly. A highlight of my 8 day bike ride!

A big thank you to the employee who greeted us very late at night, out of reception hours. She was sweet and polite.
The bed was smartly built, and it can accommodate up to four people, although if beds are extended, there is not much room left.
The room had a nice porch with a bench, but unfortunately, we weren't able to use it because it had been raining.
