Boxmeer seems a quiet town situated close to the motorway. This suited me as I was travelling towards Hook of Holland. Unfortunately I did not have time to explore the town but was happy with the hotel restaurant. At first sight Boxmeer is a quiet unremarkable little town.
At first sight Boxmeer is a quiet unremarkable little town. But it grows on you as it has a humanity lacking in larger places. Everywhere I went, shops, restaurants and even asking people on the street for directions, nothing was too much trouble and mostly in very good English too. My stay was very happy there.
