The room was a great space, and very clean. The complex was very well kept and staff were very friendly and helpful. The out door pool was a nice space to spend the sunny days and the aquatic centre was an amazing space - throughly enjoyed spending time there. The resort was a short walk to great restaurants, shops and cafes and the bus to town was at the gate - so easy. I would definitely stay again
I like Dumbea. Everyone was kind to me. Even the young men on the bridge were delighted when I introduced myself as an Aussi. The language difficulties seem to melt away when you laugh. I should have made more use of their local knowledge. The local parks and river are beautiful and there is plenty of parking and shops for most requirements. I ate well with eggs, fish, meat and local vegetables cooked in the unit. Drinking water straight from the tap or endless cups of tea and coffee and wonderful restful sleep. The unit supplied all my needs for intensive research work. If age and health allow I shall return.
