My adult daughter and I stayed 4 nights of heaven at Anjali. Everything was exceptional as the property was clean, the views of the ocean were remarkable, the pool outstanding and warm, the staff helpful. Yoga on property and early morning coffee and treats set up for guests was appreciated. We will absolutely go back!

The hotel staff was very pleasant and the rooms were as pictured. Having the Bonito Cafe downstairs was a major perk and where we started each morning. We were given a free yoga pass to The Rose Room which is upstairs, however we didn't have a chance to go, but I heard good things from fellow travelers who went. The large bathtub in the bathroom was very nice and the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room. Location is about a 5-10 min walk into the main town, but very close to the beach (w/ the windows open you can hear the waves). The pool is also a nice touch and there was never anyone there. Overall pleased with our stay here!

Sayulita is a small but growing local beach town just minutes away from Puerto Vallarta, accessible by car or bus. It is a bustling town with a very relaxed vibe, perfect for couples or groups celebrating a birthday, anniversary or other important occasions. Sayulita is known as a party town and it has the vibe especially at night. But the local residents offer many options to connect with the local culture, art and crafts. There is a plethora of activities available to visitors both on land and sea. You will love the friendly people of Sayulita and be treated well especially if you embrace their culture and show gratitude for their service and care.

Sayulita has got to solve its sewage outflow problem as it affects the quality of the water on the beach. It's a beautiful seaside town with a great surf culture and a variety of bars, restaurants and entertainment venues. If they get their beach issues fixed it will be a little slice of paradise.

It’s a good mix between relaxation, activities, and partying. Main town is mixed with nightlife, hostels, restaurants etc. North is more chill, higher end hotels.
Unfortunately there is a bug/something ripping through the town causing a lot of people to get violently sick, myself included on day 5.

I think that you either really like Sayulita or you don't.
I think that you either really like Sayulita or you don't. There also seem to be recurring problems with the sewage/water system, and people getting sick there. There are a few nicer restaurants but not enough for a longer stay. Many of the less formal places required you to sit on the road or narrow sidewalk with cars, motorcycles, golf carts and the occasional horses going buy, with their inherent noise, dust and smells... There also is very little sidewalk room to walk there, so you constantly walking on the dirt/cobblestone roads, having to be vigilant and dodge traffic etc...

Interesting town, well worth 2-3 days visit.
Interesting town, well worth 2-3 days visit. Of course, as Seniors, we were not there for surfing, but enjoyed dinners at the beach and the chance to see beginners take lessons. We met many wonderful Mexican and North American tourists, and were always treated well by local Mexicans.
This beautiful little hotel was the perfect home base to explore Sayulita. The décor matched the feel of the town and all the cute shops on the surrounding blocks. It's located steps from the surfing beach and a block from the plaza. My room was huge and had a spectacular view. It wasn't as loud as I expected at night...proximity to the waves drowns out much of the party noise from town. The staff were nice and helpful. The public areas were quite comfortable and gave the place somewhat of a hostel feel. I'll be coming back!
Just what I needed; steps to the beach, restaurants, boats and massage! Very clean, beautiful property, lots of natural landscape which I love! AND quiet. I am a regular to Sayulita for 30 yrs, it is now way over run with tourists, Ysuri felt like I was in old Sayu. The staff still had the friendly Sayulita vibe! Relaxing, to where I stayed on property most of my trip. Pool, beach, margarita at their bar near the pool, jacuzzi on my patio, dinner at restaurant in front on the beach, repeat.
The location, views, and limited number of rooms was great. The town itself can feel crowded at times, so it was nice to be separate from the craziness. Also super close was playa de los muertos, which felt more local and less crowded than the Sayulita beaches. They had food and drinks services and you could rent chairs for the day. Only a 7 min walk from the hotel. I also really enjoyed their drinks and food, although it was on the pricey side. Both chefs were great.
This hotel is noisy, dirty, and clearly has a contamination problem. Nearly all the guests were sick (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea). The beachfront is littered with sizable rocks and debris that makes walking nearly impossible. During our stay, a sewer pipe in the bay broke, spewed sewage, and if it was replaced, the leaking one sat on the beach in front of the hotel. As soon as we were able to travel, we checked out early and left for Puerto Vallerta.
This charming established boutique hotel provides a much-needed respite from the fun, yet hectic, hustle-and-bustle of the town-center and beach scene of Sayulita! Enjoy shopping, enjoy the beach, but then return to the hotel's enclosed courtyard, with pool and seating area, to enjoy a calmer relaxing siesta or cooling dip on the pool. The hotel/condo units were spacious and enabled our group of 4 to enjoy individual "alone time".
this is a very nice hotel right outside of Sayulita town. it is therefore quieter and peaceful. just be aware that the walk back at night will be dark and need to cross the road, so probably not ideal if you are there to party a lot
the rooms are nice and spacious and the pool area is beautiful. staff is very friendly. great place where to rest
you must try the pizzas from El Italiano next door. they are amazing!
The staff was as amazing as the property. The concierge Gabby was invaluable. The front desk staff and cleaning staff were accommodating, friendly and professional. The hotel has an ideal location across the street from the beach and down on the slightly more quiet end. And still within walking distance to everything needed in town.
This is a lovely brand-new boutique hotel, and once they work some of the kinks out, I think it might be the best hotel in Sayulita! Everything feels new and luxury. The room was spotless and well-designed and the location could not be better. The rooftop pool is beautiful and the staff were charming and as helpful as could be.
Hotel Diamanté is a little gem one block from the beach on the north end of Sayulita. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. The pool is great! You can tell that Teresa and her team care very much about the hotel and the happiness of their guests. I was very pleased, especially for the price.
The location is out of the main centre so much more quiet, the staff is very friendly and the rooms and clean and new. The pool gets lots of sun which isn’t common for sayulita hotels. The washrooms by the pool were nice and everything was very clean. The cafe attached will be a great addition.
We've been wanting to stay here since we visited Sayulita last year and love the cafe and yoga studio at this hotel. Our stay was superb. The hotel is incredibly decorated, the cafe is top notch, and we love going to yoga upstairs every morning. Great location, great staff, felt like home.
Very comfortable studio style apartment. Boutique apartment complex very secure.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Lalo, the concierge.
Pool and grounds were kept very well also. Ideal location to most that Sayulita has to offer.
The quality of the hotel is very good for the price. Everything is clean and in good condition. Very well located. Note that Sayulita is a very noisy town and you will hear the music of the strip until 4AM. Only issue, the pillows were not good.
Was a wonderful experience overall. This is a small and well run small hotel with caring staff, a wonderful breakfast and very good yoga (extra cost) right on site. Was everything that we were looking for for this trip and more.
Cosy and intimate boutique hotel that’s private, quiet yet close to Sayulita town and amenities. David and Regina made our stay so welcoming and were helpful with local tips and food recommendations.
