I just needed to stay somewhere for one night and this hotel might have been the most affordable. And I did not even realised breakfast was included. The hotel is right in the centre of Tulum, the receptionist was super nice, rooms were clean, the inside yard was quiet and full of plants. Nice restaurant right across the street. I highly recommend this place.

Pocna Tulum exceeded our expectations in every way possible. The staff was the nicest possible, the room was sparkling clean, spacious, bright. The atmosphere in the whole place is second to none. Food was amazing (specially the Mexican one!). Some comments mentioned that you can't buy food after 5pm - this is completely false. Pocna has 2 restaurants and the Asian one is open until 10pm (with one of the best Ramens we ever had!). The morning sunrise Yoga sessions were just a cherry on the top of the cake!

As an interior designer, I loved how the room was designed and furnished. The use of the natural materials, such as lime plaster, wood and stone, creates a very relaxing atmosphere with the bohemian style. The vegan concept follows with the use of glass bottle water, vegan soap and linens! The bed was really comfortable and I liked the choice of NOT having a tv in the room.
The only constructive note that I can make is that we had just one soap during our stay, and no shampoo, conditioner and lotion. We needed to ask for more toilet paper as well since there wasn’t any replacement in the room. That would be lovely to provide some essentials, especially for travelers like us that pack light.
The receptionists were very polite and helpful.
The location is good, just a few minutes walk from the main street and shops.
There are some hostels near the hotel that party all night long and it gets really noisy. But we used the ear plugs and that wasn’t a big deal.
ECO ROOMS CASA COYOTE They are very cozy rooms ideal for 2 people. 100% PRIVATE ECO, very fresh ambiance with AC, king-size bed, private bathroom, shower, safe , USB connection and clothes rack.

I was not sure what to expect based on the price alone - but I was pleasantly surprised by how big the room was and how safe I felt as a woman traveling alone. The bed was comfortable and noise was nonexistent. The property is gorgeous! I wish I had more time to explore the property because the parts of it I saw were magical. There was A/C that thankfully I was able to use any time I was in the room. The staff was helpful, kind and responsive. I will be looking to stay here again when I come back. Highly recommend.

Amazing hotel! The design of the buildings are beautiful. Staff were fabulous. They even upgraded our room for free as there was no one staying in it! It was an amazing room overlooking the trees and stars at night. Hot showers which is not always the case in other hotels in Tulum! Could not recommend the hotel more highly!

Location was great, sunbeds on the water were amazing and very relaxing throughout the day.
It does take a day or two to settle in and the food at the hotel is good considering the price. Be prepared to pay higher than normal pricing.
The front staff helped us with an issue in room booking, the room we were assigned Posideon was very noisy with music.

Tulum is literally amazing, I would recommend it to everyone. Some of the best places to visit while there : Gran Cenote, Tulum Ruins, Paradise Beach, kan lum lagoon.
If you can go a bit further : Visit Akumal Beach for Turtles, Visit Sian Kaan and also Bacalar ! I would also recommend Chichen Itza and Coba ruins, there are many fantastic Cenotes nearby these two places too.
Make sure to also check : Kaab+lab (brunch)

Tulum is a nice place to visit. But very expensive.
Tulum is a nice place to visit. But very expensive. Taxi’s are costly. Food and drinks expensive on beach side but a little cheaper in town. Because it is a jungle there are a lot of mosquitos. Depending on what type of vacation you want Tulum has something for everyone. Just bring lots of money.

A trip to Tulum just got much easier with direct flights from the US to the new Tulum International Airport. Then, the best and most affordable way into town is the ADO bus. Get the app and buy a ticket in advance and you'll be sure to have a seat. From the pueblo of Tulum, you'll need to take a taxi to the hotel (about 4.5 miles). The hotel has rental bikes you can take into town or to the Tulum ruins. Otherwise you can just chill at the hotel. There are also a slew of tours you can go on and the hotel staff can help you pick the ones that you are most interested in. Complimentary breakfast each day and decent food for lunch and dinner. Full service bar as well. We would definitely return to Diamante K for another relaxing stay in the future.

Tulum is not at all bad, they are lots of cenotes to visit & swim in nearby, the beaches are cool the (free ones), but better on the paid side. The food downtown Tulum ,especially the taco stalls and seafood restaurants are excellent.Make sure you have cash on hand. Most spot dont take credit cards. The beach zone is not really pedestrian Friendly, but still lots of restaurants, shops & beach clubs,. Also do your research & the taxis are here to get your $$$$ kinda over price ,also alway haggle the price down.Over all it was a great escape.

Swimming in warm, clear water that is usually swimmable or floatable on most days for most swimmers is delightful. Sea bird watching is always very rewarding while on the beach. And, the food is sensational.

Beaches are spectacular, we rented e bikes which were a godsend as we were staying outside the beach area. The military presence was a bit intimidating and Tulum town is nothing special. I probably wouldn't go back and we were sorry that we didn't spend half our time in Playa del Carmen just for a change of scenery. We liked the beach bar Planca.
The location is perfect, right on a beautiful, fine sand beach along the hotel/restaurant road in Tulum. The facilities are intimate and designed for private comfort. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. The food is excellent at the hotel, and there are several wonderful restaurants within walking distance. The best part, however, is an attentive, friendly and caring staff—from the concierges to the servers to the bell workers. All were hugely accommodating and made us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay.
We mostly enjoyed our stay in Kai Tulum. Room was nice and bed was comfortable. Enough sunbeds existed in beautiful beach. It is a quiet location unless other hotel visitors makes noise. It is in a walking distance to Tulum ruins. It has enough parking lot to park your car. I strongly suggest you to rent a car if you are planning to visit cenotes, Chichen Itza and other ruins as well as restaurants in city centre.
WiFi was fast enough even for video streaming during our stay in every spot of the hotel.
Incredible location. right in the heart of the hotel/party zone. The right on the beach. Yes you could hear music from nearby by beach clubs, but that’s to be expected in this area. Great breakfast. not sure what others complained about, nice plate of fresh fruit and then a egg dish (try the rancheros or Mexicanos eggs!) Plus OJ and coffee. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Lovely little spot right on the beach. Surrounded by the best of Tulum.
This must be the best deal on Tulum’s Beach Road.
Good location in Tulum town, yet away from the noise.... Car rentals and supermarket was a 5min walk. Loved our room - spacious n clean. Nice common areas too, very boutique, simple and lovely design. Decent pool, garden and balcony.
We reached the hotel at 1am and managed to check in without any trouble. Very friendly staff. (Thanks again).
Convenient car park.
Would definately stay here if i visit Tulum again. (And for us, staying in Town was way better than staying on the Beach Road)
Very close to the restaurants, top hotels, Tulum iconic structures (Ahau), boutiques and bars. There are pharmacies, money exchange, and mini marts/grocery store near the property. There’s one cenote at the end of the road, and to the opposite far end you can find the Mayan ruins. There’s beach access, and the best part is Cuau, receptionist, was our resource all throughout. He gave his WhatsApp number, so it was very convenient to communicate with him.
Absolutely best place we stayed at in Mexico. We had a seaview cabin and enjoyed the great view. The staff is super friendly, different from other places in Tulum. You can enjoy the sunbeds, bring your own drinks and food. We were afraid of the possible noise from the next door beachclub, but that was not loud and stopped at 8 PM so no noise at night. There’s only a fan no AC but with the sea breeze we did not experience this as an issue.
The building and room were absolutely beautiful! The best place we stayed at during our mini Mexico trip and I'll book it again! Receptionists were so nice and helpful. The shower and plunge pool in room made it feel like a luxury stay. Do yourself a favour and walk/drive about 2 blocks to "the best tacos in Tulum". There's a guy with a taco stand and they're so cheap and good!
Clean, modern aesthetic and design of the property from inside out. The hotel is beautiful and our
stay was amazing. Truly a wonderful place with even better staff that are accommodating at any need. Can't wait to return to Tulum to stay at Hotel Biwa again!
*Special thanks to Lupita! She is such a sweet person and truly made us feel extra welcomed. Thank you!!
The room has a beautiful balcony facing some trees which is pleasant to see. Also on the balcony, we had a tub/pool that was, in our opinion, the best part of our stay.
The hotel is located in a quiet zone, far from the stressful beach area (this might not be a good thing if you are looking to enjoy the crowds, restaurants and beaches of Tulum).
Was perfect, they are apartments located in the middle of the best part of tulum Hotel zone, they had so much space, two pools, one shared with the private beach club that we as astra guest had access, food and beverages, concierge. Also Close to the best boutiques walking distance and quiet environment.
We really enjoyed our stay.
We booked a Junior Deluxe room with sea view. We were very happy with the lovely spacious room with a stunning view over the ocean. We were pleased we had a car for ease of getting around. We also explored the other hotels in the hotel zone just outside of Tulum. Recommend visiting the local cenotes.
Hotel was directly on the beach and our bungalow was steps away from the water. It was right next to the restaurant but felt quiet due to partitions. It was right in the center of Tulum beach zone but very quiet and peaceful, but being in center made it easy to get around. Perfect getaway!
The hotel is fantastic! Near the beach with very beautiful landscapes. The beach parties are nice and you don't have to go far to enjoy the magic of Tulum. There are many restaurants and shops. The hotel beaches are very clean and the reception staff is friendly.
Zumunda hotel is immersed in a small jungle and very quiet from the road traffic. Close to the centre of Tulum and next to Palma Central. A small paradise with a swimming pool and the best fitted kitchen in Mexico! Well done to the people running the hotel
Definitely the best hotel we stayed at during our trip across Yucatán. Large room decorated with style. Large terrace with hammock. Welcoming and efficient staff. Excellent location in Tulum downtown.
It’s a clean and cute stay, very spacious, pool is nice. We stayed in the pent house 3, which had a kitchen and a “hot” tub. Okay for 2 nights. Beach & ruins are far, but hotel is in Tulum city.
Selina is located very central in the hotel zone area of Tulum. This is very practical.
You have access to the beach, you can park on the parking space in front of the hotel.
