Great host, great apartment. It had everything we needed for self catering. Lovely quiet location, beautiful sea views. We had a wonderful few days stay.
It is a very attractive and interesting spot. We had a hire car and this helped us pack a lot of interesting visits into a short span of time. We came in March, so not everywhere was open. If you want a lively nightlife with lots of beachfront bars - this is not the place. If you want a good base to explore from, with a good restaurant nearby this is a good choice. It was perfect for what we wanted.

Love Marsalforn. We have been going there for over 20 years. Lots of very good restaurants and cafes. There is a regular bus up to Victoria and from there you can get buses to other parts of the island. At present the cost is 2 Euros for a ticket which you can use on multiple buses for 2 hours.

There are many restaurants to choose from, ranging from the most reasonably priced to the rather expensive ones. Irrespective of one's choice, food is always excellent. For those who prefer to eat in their apartments there are many well stocked food stores. The promenade is quite large and one can choose to swim in a sandy beach or in a rocky area.

Marsalforn is a small town on the north coast of the Gozo...
Marsalforn is a small town on the north coast of the Gozo island. Due to the overall small area of the island, Gozo is probably the second most important coastal destination after the port Mgarr. The town offers many restaurants on the coastal promenade, the nearby Xwejni beach with azure clear water, interesting natural scenery in the neighborhood (rock window Wied Il-Mielah, rock valley Wied Il-Ghasrí with the iconic beach), several supemarkts. I spend in Marsalforn my second holiday completely satisfied with Maltese wine during relaxed evenings far away from overcrowded, nervous and traffic-jammed Malta. A number of great beaches (Dahlet Quorrot, Hondoq Ir- Rummien, Wied Il-Ghasrí) are not accessible by public transport) so I recommend rent a car. Considering the lower traffic, getting used to driving on the left is not a serious problem for a continental European. Don't forget to visit the prehistoric Neolithic Temple of Xaghra, a thousand years older than the Egyptian pyramids! I wish you a stay as beautiful and happy as mine has been.

Great home base for our long weekend in Gozo (assuming you have a car). Cute little waterfront full of restaurant options, including Yummy Yummy Chinese which was a nice change from the Pizza, Pasta, and Seafood routine. We were in the shoulder season, so the water was still a little cold, although we did opt for an afternoon in the Blue Lagoon back on Comino. Didn't try any of the swim holes around Gozo, though. The roads in Gozo can get wildly rough pretty quickly, even if something looks like it's a bigger road on the map, so just take it slow!
Our stay in Malsalforn in Maria Giovanna guesthouse was fantastic! The room and facilities were great, breakfast was amazing and the staff were really the best! Maria, Sonia and Joe were always so friendly and helpful. We were in the area diving and helped us storing our equipment on the roof top where there was facilities for rinsing our gear and hanging it up overnight in a safe place.
Really couldn't recommend this place highly enough and we will most definitely be back and wouldn't stay anywhere else if we ever get back to Gozo.
It was a really nice clean apartment. It was very modern and comfortable. The hosts thought of everything you would want for your stay. There were a lot of special touches we didn't expect such as ice cream on arrival in the freezer. The host responded quickly to our messages. The location was great It was close to beach, walking trails, shops, bus and restaurants. The view from the balcony was stunning .We would recommend this property. In fact, Gozo was so nice we wished, we booked longer. We are hoping to go back again sometime!!
Marsalforn. Anyone who tells you that one day on Gozo is a fool! And Apt 5 is a GEM. Only blocks from the awesome small seaside village town, grocery stores and amazing restaurants we will treasure in our memories forever. Our host Joseph, who owns the apt, knows everyone in town and will give you wonderful recommendations. The apartment was beyond what we needed and a treasure to find. The pictures don’t lie. DO NOT book hotels/rooms a block from town. Massive construction.
Comfortable, clean (if slightly dated) apartment slightly further down the coast from Masalforn and all the better for it. Watching the sun rise over the ocean from the balcony was amazing. The restaurant downstairs was very convenient. Great swimming spot just a few feet from the apartment. If you don't have a car then it is a 15min walk to the nearest shops for essentials. We had a lovely 4 days in Gozo and we felt like we chose a very good location..
Cute and well kept apartment, we liked the cats and host Azzurra was very friendly. Definitely recommend to stay in Marsalforn when visiting Gozo! We went for a hike, the landscape was stunningly green and hilly, also there are nice restaurants as well. You cannot visit Malta without Gozo and staying at Fur, Purr & Pool is definitely recommended at that price! Good value for money, esp. during low season. :)
I loved everything! Sonia, Anna and Joseph were the best. Welcoming and warm. Their guesthouse smelled of sunshine & laughter. The atmosphere made me fall in love with Gozo from the first night.
The location is perfect. Marsalforn is very central and the bus is literally 10 steps away. Bolt is a call away! I enjoyed my stay to bits and I am definitely going back.

I really liked the location of the hotel, it's a nice, little hotel just around the corner of the beachfront.
Also, the staff at the reception was really lovely, all of them were very friendly and helped us out with a lot of things, such as getting back to Valletta by public transport, etc.
Even though the bathroom was extremely small, it was modern and clean.
The property is located on the bay on a ground floor. The balcony looking towards the sea. Perfect for kayakers, you can place your kayak in the entrance or the huge balcony. Marsalforn restaurants and shops on walking distance. On the otherside perfect for trekking, wied il ghasri and il mielah are easily reachable.
The interior much beautiful than photos,we are so happy to book this apartment for our Gozo vacation.the bus stop is located near by this building and it’s a real sea view one.obviously Judith help us a lot.tell us how to arrive Gozo and recommend the nice restaurant. We will book it again if we back here.
The apartment is brand new and was super clean. It has two balconies with amazing views. The host was kind and responding our messages very fast. Location was excellent with less than a 5 min walk from the sea and restaurants. I totally recommend it if you are looking for a short holiday stay in Gozo.
Worth every penny for more than a reason... The location is perfect, the hotel is clean, and breakfast is super delicious. Booked a room with a bath and it was without any doubt the highlight of our stay after trekking Gozo for 2 days. Loved it and will definitely return.
This family run B&B is in the center of Marsalforn Gozo ideal for those who like a relaxing sea side break, The breakfast is very good and the staff is very friendly. It is low budget and both lunch and dinner, which can served in the open areas. are lovely.
Raphael is a great host, very friendly and helpful. He prepared us a delicious breakfasts and gave a tips about Gozo. View from the balcony is breathtaking 👌🏻☺️
