We went to Popaywa to visit the temple on the mountain which was interesting but Popa Garden Resot was so lovely it would have been worth it without going to the temple. The rooms were well designed with modern teak furniture, like Swedish furniture, the bed was huge and very comfortable. W had a beautiful balcony with sun and shade. The pool was a nice place to relax with comfortable loungers and the staff couldn't have done more for us. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel. It was ok. Not overpriced. They organised a rickshaw to take us up to the temple, but we organised our own taxi as their transport was a little pricey.

The view was amazing. Staffs were so friendly and helpful. We went for trekking to Mt. Popa and it was 1 hour walk. You don't have choice of the foods much i think except you want to walk down to try local foods. We ended up eat at the resort every meals. The resort is quite big and so green.
