El centre d'Skopje és força petit, amb dos ambients clarament diferenciats: d'una banda la part de l'Old Market, amb ambient de bazar i per altra la part de la plaça Makedonia i els seus voltants. Per tots dos pots anar passejant. L'únic que queda una mica lluny del centre és l'estació d'autobusos, per si vols visitar altres ciutats o anar a Kosovo (2h en bus).
