It feels like home, the hosts are the most attentive and kind, the food is absolutely delicious (had breakfast and dinner every day), huge portions and always fresh food! The cabins/rooms are very clean and quiet, water pressure is great, and the landscape around it is wonderful.
It is easy to access many trails from this place, so the location is really great!
It felt like home to talk to the hosts every night, share stories, have great food, and enjoy drinks with them!
Fully recommended! For sure going back any day!
At the end I had a special breakfast and the hosts helped fix an issue in my car, no extra charges, just pure kindness, that was wonderful!!!!
Thanks Isac and Danuta!

We absolutely loved our stay here. We were actually quite sad to leave. I recommend it to everyone. We came in October, so it was not high season, and were the only ones there. We were upgraded to an apartment with own bathroom, living area etc. It was very comfortable and clean and the wifi worked well. Semir kindly offered us breakfast every day and he drove us to the trailhead of a hike when the taxi didn't answer their phone. As a host, Semir is very thoughtful and helpful. We are very happy we stayed here.
Our primary reason to stay was the three peaks from Grebaje Valley and Zla Kolata. Both of which we were able to hitch rides back from to Gusinje. The apartments are right by the bus station and near the town where they have supermarkets (small) atm, phone shop and nice coffee places.
Thank you. We will be back one day!

a beautiful town that is underrated, and under developed too. The surrounding alps is sooooooo beautiful! but basic instrastructure is lacking - the bus station is only a parking lot with no ticket office. there are some abandoned properties. There are lots of beautiful trails but looks like hasn't been maintained for a long time and it's not accessible. And trashes are in the beautiful rivers, mountains, trails. with more people visiting Gusinje, and local government's effort - clean up trashes, improve the public insfrastructure, and most importantly set boundaries to protect the national park and environment, and improve the situation of the trails, hopefully it will help the local economy.

we did not spend much time in the town centre, but drove though it. There is very different feel about Gusinje and the Moslem influence can definitely be felt, with a large mosque located right in the town centre. The town centre was very busy and seemed to be full of visitors, so clearly there are things to do apart from the hiking...which is what took us there.
