We chose this place for two nights for our family meeting at the end of December. 7 adults and 4 teenagers. 4 bedrooms for 3 couples and one single (still with 2 beds). The children occupied one spacious room in the upper level. First night we took additionally hot tub and the second - Turkish bath. Kitchen is very well equipped.

Despite the fact that the house is located very close to the lake and should be problems with electricity, and water -everything was smooth. First of all, it's an amazing and cozy place. Small house painted in calm color with flower pots and flying-relax chair on terrasse, barbecue place, chairs, and tables and everything you need for downhilling into the deepest chill. Second, the Vended water 18L bottle is located inside the house together with gas stove and gas heater. Inside the house no electricity but at night it is highlighted from outside with many lamps working from the sun's energy. And finally, if you need WC or shower both located close to the house. WC - approx. 15 meters from the house, shower - approx. 200 meters from the house.

Vecvanagi is located in a green and quiet area which can be explored while hiking. Guests are welcome to use the free private parking on site.

The host is very responsive and helpful on requests. There was little things that needed fixing (I guess we were the first guests of the season) they immediately took care of those. Downstairs space very good for social group eating and time together. Upstairs sleeping are was surprisingly good to accommodate 10 people, not getting out of oxygen during the night.

Everything was fabulous. Place is spotless, with everything what you need for just relax and enjoy your time here. I was super happy when was preparing sofa bed for my youngest son and discovered completely full set of bedding prepared. Thank you for this! Little advice.. Please place the Uno and other card games outside of the drawers on shelves for example because we would been very happy to play them on evening, but discovered only the next morning. :) The same thing with hair dryer never thought about checking living rooms drawers for that. More visible place would be better. :) Thank you.

It's wonderful to find such a gem here in Latvia.
