The rooms and staff were impeccably neat and good. Staff was very helpful and tended to all your needs. We didn't like the menu but they offered us srilankan food consisting of rice, curry, dal, different kinds of vegetables, papad and dessert. The food was lip smacking. We were beyond satisfied with the stay

Fantastic little campsite in the middle of the Sri Lankan bush, only accessible by 4WD. Head in here and feel the serenity. With just the two tents it's a small, perfectly-formed operation run by the wonderful host Nero, who not only looks after your every need but whips up amazing meals in his little camp kitchen, served on a table under the stars, with a bonfire to complete the magic. In the morning Nero took us on a safari in the nearby Yala National Park, which was magical at sunrise. Highly recommended.

This is such a special place to stay! We saw loads of wildlife around the property and out on the Safari. We booked two jungle family rooms for our family of 4 and they were spacious, clean and comfortable. The food was decent, drinks were yummy, and the service was great. They don't play music at the pool or restaurants and so you become attuned to all of the nature sounds around you. It's a wonderful place and great value!
"Yakaduru Yala is located on the buffer Zone of Yala National Park. It’s Just 5 minutes away from the Yala National Park Entrance.

We visited Yala for two days (with two separate game drives - one evening and one morning one) and although we enjoyed the animals we observed, we did not have any sightings of leopards despite being the national park with the highest concentration in the world. But that is nature so we were just unlucky on those days. However, the most disappointing aspect of Yala was the sheer number of vehicles allowed into the park at one time. As soon as elephants or leopards are sighted, drivers communicate among themselves and vehicles all rush to the scene creating a massive traffic jams. This makes it feel very mass market and doesn’t seem very respectful of the wildlife

Terrible time. No wild animals as expected.
Terrible time. No wild animals as expected. Roads are all around the jungle which is pretty disturbing to the wild life. After all it is supposed to be a protected zone for wild life. Jeeps are crawling every corner of the territory. Amused to see all of that disturbing scenes in a wild life protected zone. It's like business zone. Poor animals.

I loved Yala.
I loved Yala. The number of different animals seen was slightly disappointing but apparently wash outs due to rain prevented us from accessing some internal roads. The sunrise and scenery were stunning. I would rate it as good value despite the lack of animals. The whole experience was wonderful.

The national park in Yala is beautiful however it is hard to drive around as the roads are poorly maintained. There is a large populatin of birds and i think this safari would suit bird watchers more than those who want to see the elephants. The 6am -6pm safari is too long.
Sigiriya is far superior when it comes to large herds of elephants.

The hike in the nature reserve was amazing, we saw lots of amazing animals and landscapes.
Were lucky and we were able to meet the tiger as well.
It is important to note that the trip should take drinks and food, the hotel staff where we were did not tell us the length of the trip and did not make sure to let us know that we should take care of ourselves.
Of course we were smarter and brought with us the necessary equipment ..
But there were those next to us who did not and that was unfortunate

We stayed at Laya Beach resort which was very beautiful and was very close to our safari's which made our stay even better.
The beach, however, was too rough to swim which was a little disappointing.

My stay at Leopard Nest Yala Glamping was exceptional. The staff welcomed me warmly and made me feel at home from the start. The tents were luxurious, offering stunning views and all the comforts one could ask for. What impressed me most was their dedication to sustainability and wildlife conservation. The guided safari through Yala National Park was unforgettable, especially seeing a leopard in its natural habitat. I highly recommend Leopard Nest Yala Glamping for anyone seeking a memorable adventure in Sri Lanka.
This is most unique hotel you can stay in Sri Lanka. Staff is very friendly, helpful and they make sure they do whatever you request. Even cook can cook you if you request something out of the menu and whatever he cook was amazing. Rooms are super clean, bed comfortable. Minibar is full with drink, snacks and for free. They provide security of you because of wild animals they escort you from/to room or facilities whenever you need. We use Spa and 2 Balinese girl also doing good massage which I can recommend
We had an amazing stay at Cinnamon Wild Yala. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. we organised a safari through the hotel - our driver was very respectful of the animals and really knowledgeable. We were lucky enough to see a leopard as well as a whole host of other animals. It was probably one of favourite days in Sri Lanka. Amazing place to splash out and spend a few nights, especially if you are planning a safari in Yala.
This is clearly paradise. The Villa itself is beautifully designed and is simply first class. Spotless. I love that the bathroom ceiling was the sky and hosted bird nests and we had trees in the house. The staff was beyond friendly, accommodating and fun. Make sure that you participate in the mini safari. The food was exceptional. They arranged our Safari for us to Yala and it was reasonably priced.
The property is beautiful. Very comfortable, clean, excellent facilities. We loved meeting Ananda and his wonderful team, they all made our stay extra special. The cooking staff cooked up many delicious meals, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The pool was delightful and we spent many hours enjoying and relaxing.
Thank you team Rock Wild Yala. We will definitely be back.
These villas are amazing! Plenty of room for our family of five. Small property (only two villas) with very attentive service and fantastic manager and staff. Food was great and the surroundings are truly unique - a short trip to Yala and a short walk to the beach (although not safe to swim at the closest one - which was fine as a it was a lovely walk and view.
The tents were super comfortable and clean. The atmosphere was so nice, pitch dark at night with fireflies all around. There are peacocks, all kinds of birds, cows, dogs in the hotel perimeter, kids enjoyed a lot. Dinner (bbq) and breakfast was good and filling. It is approx 25 min away from Yala National park entrance, so it is convenient.
What a spectacular hotel, nothing more than perfection in every aspect. The staff are very professional, knowledgeable, attentive, happy to help and genuine. The amenities are top notch and the rooms are out of this wold, attention to details in every way from the feeling in the room to the materials to the design are very well executed.
The location in nature, the superb rooms, the service and the staff. The personal service and attention to detail, the boutique nature of the property. A special mention has to go to Upul who looked after us like his own - preparing breakfast on the lawn, dinner by the pool and treating us like his family - he is 5 star ! ⭐️
Udara's place is absolutely amazing. You have an entire house with comfort for you. Everything is new. Udara and his family are kind and helped us a lot organizing the safari in Yala at a very reasonable price and giving us the best experience. the mother of Udara cooked for us a huge and delicious dinner. thank you Udara
I booked Yakaduru for a one-night safari experience, but it offered much more. Climbing into a treehouse offered breathtaking views of Yala, chena fields, the village, and the beach. The outdoor BBQ dinner was an addition to my experiences. Overall, Yakaduru provided memorable experiences beyond my expectations.
Just the best hotel in Yala for sure. The pool is incredible in front of the rice fields.
You can also have a romantic dinner near the fire each night.
Good food, good service, good room !
It's an experience by itself and show the best of Sri Lanka and sri lankans.
Thanks for all, you're amazing guys.
the behavior of it’s staff wasn’t good although the manager of hotel apologized to me but I didn’t like it and also there isn’t any slippers in the room and there was a lizard in the room and when I called to reception and said about it and requested to help, nobody didn’t do anything.
My friends and me had a very nice stay in this hotel. The house was clean, calm, and the staff was really nice. We took the safari trip to yala with them also and we don’t regret it. It was really well organised and the guide was so motivated! So go for it!
Friendly faces and fresh spaces! The staff's professionalism and the hotel's attention to cleanliness ensure a worry-free stay just minutes away from the national park. A true gem for travelers seeking comfort and convenience.
Amazing property, amazing staff and amazing facilities. Has to be one of the best hotels I have stayed at by far. There is nothing in this facility that I would change!
