It is amazing small boutique hotel on the wild ocean shore. Back side of it there is a birds sanctuary so while walking on the beach or sitting on your balcony you might see different kind of tropical bird species. If you want a quiet holiday as a couple or family it is the best option! We were staying there during Christmas holidays and my birthday celebration. It was really wonderful experience, only you and the ocean. Not crowded at all. Polite and helpful stuff. I am very thankful to the owners Thimal and Tetiana who arranged very warm celebration party for my birthday, it was a dream night for me really!! They were taking care of us very well, we got the best view room !! Thank you so much!! The breakfast was good, for dinner you might have a fresh pizza from the oven with amazing view and not crowded place. We loved it a lot !

We really enjoyed our stay at Taragala. The proprietor was very friendly and helped us book a boat trip on the lagoon. He made sure all our needs were met and the food was delicious. We had Sri Lankan food for our meals and it was tasty & the portions were very generous. We were interested in birding and the property hosted quite a few species on the spot and it was located very close to where the boats docked for the lagoon trip.

The pool is beautiful and clean with an amazing view onto the ocean. The breakfast was good. Order the Sri Lankan breakfast the night before if you like Sri lankan breakfast. The palm trees and service at the hotel were awesome. Loved everything about the hotel.

Turtle Bay Boutique Hotel is a lovely small hotel where you can genuinely get away from it all. Spacious rooms with porches and balconies overlook beautiful grounds and a private beach. Also, there are plenty of places to relax and wander about and the hotel is only a few minutes from the Kalametiya Bird Sanctuary. Don't miss the opportunity to take a paddleboat ride through the lagoon at dawn. Simply Blissful. The staff here are a delight, and the food - magnificent. Chef went above and beyond to prepare some very special dishes. I look forward to returning here again and again. Highly Recommended!

The Buckingham is an exceptional Hotel located on Rekwa Beach near to Tangalle. The service and quality of the Hotel is top notch. Amazing food and breakfasts and beautiful infinity pool overlooking the sea. The rooms are well appointed and the service is outstanding from start to finish.

Charming and peaceful. My wife and I visited this lovely place to watch the turtles lay their eggs and enjoy the ambience. The cabana is a beautiful new design and very clean. Located in a private and serene area bordering an open paddy field where we saw peacocks and many other birds. The food was amazing, delicious, and great value. They had fresh caught seafood and quite a few different vegetable curries. Very short walk to both the Turtle Beach and the Harbor Beach for swimming. Wasantha and his daughter were so kind to us. Wasantha works for many years with the turtle project, a true expert on the history of turtles in this area. We would love to visit again!

Beautiful gardens of property. Lovely pool. Great generous breakfast with an amazing view of the beach. Outdoor shower a delightful novelty. Great place if you want to relax somewhere a little bit isolated.

Favorite place we stayed in Sri Lanka, the owner is so kind and makes amazing food, be sure to eat dinner here if you stay! She also set up kayaking for us on the lagoon which was beautiful.
