I honestly never write reviews but I HAVE to for this transit hotel. Terin the owner is the most personal, hard working, and hospitable man to be greeted with after a 24 hour travel. As a first time solo traveller, he made me feel so comfortable that I actually booked him again for the tail end of my trip. And once I saw him the second time around, he embraced me as if we were family. Even compared to hotels I stayed at located in actual cities like Sigiriya or Ella, this transit stay left such an impression just based on the sheer attention to customer service. From the free airport pickup, lion beer greeting, easy dinner option, free breakfast, fish foot massage, fast wifi, to the great air conditioning, I would recommend this stay to anyone visiting Sri Lanka!

Both the first, and the last days of our trip we stayed at this lovely place, where the owner himself grew up and developed these Eco lodges
We had a great time here because:
- Both the owner and the staff are super friendly, helpful and proactive. They all have international experience in hospatality.
- The cook can prepare wonderful meals, from Sri Lankan currys to European dishes. There is no set menu, but you are asked what you would like to eat. Everything fresh and delicious!
- There is a beautiful large garden, where they grow all the fruits and vegetables that are served.
- The stand-alone cottages are super clean and spacious, with all practicals like water, coffee/tea, fridge, safe, toiletries etc.
- Beautiful large pool, with lovely sun beds and towels
- Various possibilities for activities, from cooking courses to local trips
- Close to the airport, with good pick-up service
In short, definitely a place to book for several nights!
