The train is right there to take you on an exploration. There was a dressmaker ,she made us some gorgeous clothes . Was thoroughly disappointed with the service. There was one person taking care of everything there so maintenance was bad. Though rooms were spacious felt that it was not maintained well. The rain water entered the rooms and everytime we had to go search for the person in charge to come n clean. Door knobs were not working curtains were dirty. Helpful tourist guides and tuk tuk drivers. easy to get around Bentota in Tuk Tuk though little bit of bargaining is required to get a better or reasonable price.

The beautiful beach and easy access to to it. The food is great with a lot of options, make sure you ask them for the 10% discount for booking.com, otherwise they tend to bill you the full amount. Very eay to get around Bentota, just take a Tuk -Tuk, only 200-300 LKR to get to places around, plenty of great dinner options for seafood, if you like that.

We visited Bava Garden in Benthota and did a boat ride. The people were nice and helpful. The beach was relatively clean and safe to walk around. Bentota has a number of good hotels though a little bit expensive. Galle city is just 45 minutes away.gunasekera - 10Scored 10

A beautiful beach. A short tuk tuk ride from shops . We would of liked some more information as to how near any restuarants were. As when we arrived at our accommodation it appeared we were in the middle of nowhere. But our host Jaya was very helpful in showing us around. There are actually 4 restuarants right next to Bentota Station. Can highly recommend tuna tuna 33. Very good quality food at very reasonable prices.

We really enjoyed the relaxed, beautiful design and location. Staff were exceptionally nice. Special mentions for Vidursha our waitress, Chamila our room cleaner, the pool boy, waiting staff at the buffet and bar restaurant. Raj the manager was superb in ensuring that our every need was met. The bar restaurant chef turns out delicious food. All staff are a credit to the hotel and are commended for making our stay fabulous.

Our room was on the sixth floor with a brilliant view of the Indian Ocean. The breakfast and dinner spread had lot of options and the staff were very helpful. We used the fitness centre and the spa which were great facilities.
