We loved everything: the rooms were large and with beautiful design, everything super clean; very confortable bed. At one point we were the only guests (our group) since it is a small resort.
The pool is amazing, food was perfect. It s best to preorder, so you don t wait. Try Tomato and Orange soup, my favorite, also shrimps, pasta, lamb.. they have a very good Chef.
Staff is very friendly and helpful.
The nearby Balapytia beach was so beautiful, we saw a wonderful sunset from the rocks.
It was splendid to relax here after visiting the island. It was one if the 2 best hotels we stayed in Sri Lanka.

The whole hotel is gorgeous. The beach is perfect for swimming, very clean with gorgeous views and is so private (not packed with hundreds of other tourists). You can walk to the rocks on the corner for great snorkeling and to explore the huge other beach on the other side. In the evening (5pm) all the local fishermen turn up to take their boats out as the sun sets and its like a free show every day as the boats are beautiful and the locals are all very friendly. The rooms are all huge with private garden seating areas with overhead fans and your own coffee machine. The food and drinks were all very reasonably priced and often enjoyed having a beer brought to me on the beach as the sun set. The staff were all so lovely and friendly and attentive, even showing me monkeys that had come to visit the hotel one day. Loads of wildlife to see at the hotel to keep you entertained and the food was all delicious. Took a tuk tuk from the hotel one day down to Hikkaduwa Turtle Beach to go Scuba Diving (about 20-30 mins drive with great views along the way). The busy beach there made me grateful to return to the hotels quiet one. A private piece of paradise

Felt at home straight away. Dinitha, the manager, couldn’t have been more accommodating. The food, cooked by Neel, was wonderful, fresh and tasty. Nothing was too much trouble. The pool was nice and only a short walk to a beautiful beach. Some of the neighbours were a little annoying for a solo traveller but I felt very safe and cared for by Dinitha and Kevin.

The location of the property was perfect, just set back from an uncrowded beach at the edge of the non touristy town of Balapityia. I stayed in the garden bungalow which had had a recent addition of a veranda , making a perfect shady spot to chill and read. The staff made the ‘property ‘ though. All so caring . I was ill whilst there and they took me to the Doctors and then cooked food that I was able to eat and checked on me through the days - I was so well looked after.

The staff were very welcoming and efficient. Leonard, the manager was very kind and helpful. Suzan made us some lovely meals and Patmos was friendly. All friendly. The room was very spacious, maybe too spacious, we didn’t need all that room for two! The view was amazing and we were able to walk along the beach on one day.

Great beach, we felt like Robinson Crusoe on the beach,...
Great beach, we felt like Robinson Crusoe on the beach, almost just the 2 of us. Visiting Mahdu Lake at 6 a.m. watching the sun goes up. A natural paradise with a lot of birds and other animals. Listening to their different noises. Dining at the Mangrove Cave Restaurant we enjoyed freshest seafood. It was just very tasty.

Don't wonder and don't wait!
Don't wonder and don't wait! Just go to Sri Lanka and holiday. Spend your money, feel the vibe, enjoy its exotic reality. Ignore your stupid governments travel advisory, the people NEED tourism and they need it now.
Everything! From the very beginning - the reception area, the hotels territory look amazing, all green and natural, clean and comfortable at the same time. The staff is performing at its best - always ready to help, providing information and making sure my stay is comfortable. The room meets all the requirements, clean, all is working properly, the furniture is very good and of course the view. And kayaking is just an awesome activity, I saw true Sri Lankan life while kayaking on the Madu Ganga river.
Amazing! We had several hotels, apartments in Sri Lanka but this was the best. We felt great there the location is amazing, right on the beutiful beach. There were some waves but you can swim or you can use a nice pool as well. The staff was so kind and helpful. The breakfast was great they brought a table for us and we had it in front of our room in the garden while listening the sounds of the ocean. There were shops, pharmacy, restaurants nearby. Looking forward to be there next time.
Everything. It was the best experience we could imagine. A very beautifully furnished villa with a stunning view to wake up to every morning, a paradise of privacy with an empty amazing beach next to you, what could be better?
We really enjoyed the wonderful meals for breakfast, lunch and especially dinner each day. Sri Lankan food dinners experience was unforgettable! Don’t hesitate to ask for anything you want and you will get much more that exceed your expectations!
This hotel is located on a quiet beach, if you are looking for a place to relax, this hotel is a great choice, it does not look like a resort, it looks like a private villa with very polite and kind staff, it looks like a piece of paradise,
the hotel beach has a spectacular sunset, cleanliness and design The rooms are great, the food and breakfast are fresh and delicious.
Totally It was a unique stay and experience for us and I hope to be back again.
With a stunning view, this property took my expectations to a new level! Located in a quiet area beside the lake, I enjoyed the peaceful and quiet surroundings! Modern but not landscape changing the Hotel is placed in the hill by the lake. Staff and owners are always there for you to help if anything is needed! Thx to all of them! 🙏🏻 At my next stay, I definitely will come again!
From check-in to check-out this property excelled as far as level of service expected from a boutique hotel! The quality of the food and beverage were terrific (albeit marginally limited). The infinity pool, beach, and sunsets a constant reminder of the chances to relax on offer not just at the property but also in the nation of Sri Lanka.
THE LOCATION WAS FANTASTIC, WEST FACING SO LOVELY SUNSETS. YOU COULD WALK FOR SEVERAL MILES IN BOTH DIRECTIONS ON THE BEACH WHICH WAS PERFECT. HOTEL LAYOUT WAS VERY GOOD. WE COULD HAVE BREAKFAST ON OUR OWN TERRACE IF WE WANTED. STAFF WERE ALL VERY FRIENDLY AND KEEN TO HELP. FOOD ON THE WHOLE WAS VERY GOOD BUT THE MENU DID NOT CHANGE.
The room in the main building is ample. A lot of european sockets, nice balkony. The territory is lovely and quiet.
The ocean is 20 steps away. The beach is vast, no people at all. You feel like the whole beach is yours. But the most precious about the place is the family running the hotel - incredibly hearty, helpful and delicate.
The staff was very friendly and helpful!! Room was clean and comfortable with AC, swimming pool fantastic, bfast delicious, they even cooked a dinner for us! 200m to the beautiful beach, center of Balapitiya is in 10min walk distance, full of food options and shops.. definitely worth to visit ! We highly recommend this place :)
It was one of the most unique experiences of our stay in Sri Lanka ,the quality of the food was excellent and the hotel and restaurant staff were very professional and polite, we experienced a beautiful sunrise.
It was a whole new experience and it is definitely recommended.
It's a dream come true. Rooms are huge and nicely decorated, the staff is very kind and attentive, food is excellent, the beach is lovely and feels very intimate and they have a sweet hotel dog.
We didn't want to leave and want to go back as soon as possible.
The villa is beautiful, situated along a stunning beach in Balapitiya. The area is quiet but there are a few restaurants nearby and it is a short tuk tuk ride to Hikkaduwa. The staff at the villa were excellent and extremely accommodating and welcoming.
Loved the location of the hotel..right by the river with the most amazing view! We had a fantastic meal in the restaurant. Best chicken and prawn curries. We took the riverboat cruise which was fantastic! We were only there one night. Would return.
