Everything was very nice, clean and we had all we needed. The hosts were very helpful, gave us tips for local restaurants and places to visit. They also let stay after checkout time so we didn’t have to store all our stuff in car before going to the airport.
The swimming pool area was very nice:)

La Kaye Nou, is a typical St Lucian home – a bungalow made of brick with two bedrooms, shower room, toilet kitchen, and lounge. It was really comfortable and I like the furnishings. it had everything we needed for our stay. It reminded me of my family home growing up. Best of all the owner is a masseuse and she gave us the most wonderful massage on one of our last days, very reasonably priced as well.
Set on a lush tropical estate, Anse Chastanet Resort is situated between Anse Chastanet and Anse Mamin beaches, and offers wonderful views of Petit and Gros Piton mountains and the Caribbean Sea.

Soufriere is a weird kind of place, it looks sad and it was a place where we didn't feel safe, lots of men sitting around offering you stuff, we only found 1 restaurant half decent (where we ate at twice and the food was lovely, don't remember the name but it's close to the dock and it looks like it's where tour guides take tourists to), lots of drunk people on the street too.
I understand why people go to St Lucia and just stay at their resorts, this area is not yet prepared to receive tourists who like to explore.
The beaches nearby are nice but Sugar Beach is ridiculous, yes, it is beautiful but it is absurd that a 5 star hotel takes up the whole beach.
I'm glad we only spent 1 night here and the rest of the holiday in Rodney Bay, where there are more restaurants and lovely beaches. Much better infra-structure for tourism.

Great place for a base to St Lucia, as the most interesting places to visit are near here. There are a lot of locals that hang out in the city which makes it congested but they are very friendly, and all the people in the shops were friendly as well. The beach in the city is decent, and free, whereas the nearby resort ones are very nice but cost $$. I would base here again. Driving the road north is something you'll want to do only once due to how long it takes and the aggressive drivers, so plan accordingly!! :)

The resorts are great, it’s close to many adventures and sights… but in all my years of travel I’ve never been so hounded by peddlers. There were a few times we felt unsafe and were yelled at for not buying something. We

Soufriere is a must for anyone who visits St Lucia; there are the Pitons, the sulphur springs, Diamond baths and waterfalls and the botanical gardens and more. The locals are kind, polite, you are never hassled. The food is good and lots of good walks, transport is good. A good place to chill, walk or take a boat ride to the left Anse Chastanet or to the right to Sugar Beach.

We hiked the Gros piton trail- strenuous but rewarding although they wouldn’t let us see the second viewpoint at the peak of petit piton which was disappointing. We also liked the diamond falls botanical garden- small but beautiful. Fun town with some good restaurants- we ate at the hummingbird restaurant which was excellent.
Really enjoyed our stay at La Pelle. The apartment is brand new so everything is in perfect condition, it’s clean and has all new appliances. It’s spacious and the view from the balcony and bedroom were excellent - would highly recommend staying here. We had a car which you can park on the quiet street outside but was about 15 min walk to the beachfront and centre of Soufriere. Isiah was really helpful upon check in and was there to contact whenever we needed. Would definitely stay again
We loved our stay at Maggie's Inn in Soufriere, St. Lucia. Our host, Christopher, was attentive and ensured we had everything we needed: towels for the sulphur springs, drying racks for our wet things, a stocked kitchen so we could make our meals if we wanted, and a lovely deck overlooking the town and ocean to enjoy it by! Our beautiful suite had every modern amenity. Each plug had a USB port for our electronics, which we appreciated, and the A/C was a welcome relief after a hot day!
Arletta was an excellent host during our stay. She was always on hand to help and gave us recommendations for the local area. The apartment itself is spacious and in a great location within Soufriere. It felt like we were living with the locals - which is exactly what we wanted. If you’re up for a walk, you can also get to a number of beautiful beaches from here (Anse Mamin was our favourite). I will recommend Arletta’s place to anyone staying in the area. Thank you!!
The Plus:
- Incredible location, with unprecedented views of Petite Piton and the village of Soufriere.
- Within walking distance of the town and the public beach
- Within driving distance of all major attractions around the southwest of the Island.
- The pool is swimmable and offer amazing views
- Staff was courteous and always helpful.
- comfortable rooms, with solid A/C if the heat is too much, and reliable hot water for showers.
We stayed at 3 places in St Lucia on our recent trip, and Green Fig was without doubt our favourite one. Beautiful open-air hotel built into the mountain side, situated in a fantastic location overlooking the Pitons, can't help but think it's the best spot in Soufriere. Breakfast was great with the best banana bread on the island
Staff were all super nice and helpful
Would 100% come back if we visit St. Lucia again
The location is perfect, a block from the beach in the city of Soufriere, so you can walk around easily. Much better than staying in a luxury resort up on the hill, this is the way how you can meet locals and learn how they live their everyday lives. The apartment is brand new and perfectly clean, and the owner is so helpful and nice. The view from the balcony is spectacular
Good position, 2 minutes drive from Soufriere, on a hill overlooking the bay. We had 4 apartments rented for a group of 10. All units were great quality, spacious, clean and fresh. The view from the upper balconies was amazing, with the Pitons and the Sea as a backdrop. Internet wifi was good too. The host was amazing, very helpful and friendly. Couldn’t ask for more.
Amazon Villas was a beautiful place to stay! Our host Conrad was so friendly and kind, also a wealth of information about the area. The neighborhood was peaceful except for the occasional dog barking which is typical for many areas in
St Lucia. We loved the pool area and had it to ourselves everytime. Very clean, no complaints. Would definitely stay there again!
Belle Etoile is a beautyfully located accomodation in Soufriere. Spacious nice room with large balkony and vieuw. Nothing is missing and host Carlixle does everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Highly recommended!
The access road is a bit a challenge and only be done with a 4 wheel drive. If you don’t get it right the first time, call Carlixle!
The location of this resort is very unique and exceptional: it is immersed in St Lucia tropical forest with a dominance of fruit trees (cacao, mangos, bananas). The architecture of the resort is authentic with a colonial style. Staff is super nice, friendly and professional. Meals, starting from the included breakfast buffet, are abundant and super good.
Piton Vista Villa was the perfect spot for our honeymoon in Saint Lucia! Martin and Joanna were excellent hosts, helping us check in and then leaving us with privacy unless we asked questions about good beaches, restaurants, etc. The house was very clean and comfortable. It was in a great location, close to many activities, and an incredible view.
Great location and spacious apartment, very clean. Balcony a great spot for view and birdwatching. Staff friendly and seashells restaurant a nice place to eat. A local guide Peter organised a boat trip for snorkelling including sugar beach and an inland tour- both good. Recommend Soufrière for a southern St Lucia vibe.
The cottage was spacious and really unique! Outdoor shower was a fun addition. Amazing view of the jungle. Dinner was tasty and cheaper than other hotel restaurants. Hike on site to see the view of the piton was amazing! Able to get a free shuttle bus to see sugar beach which was my favourite beach on the trip.
right in the centre of Soufriere so a good base to go anywhere. this is a no frills hotel and, as long as you come with that expectation, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it here. fyi - most places in Soufriere stop serving food by 5/6pm!
Enjoyed getting to explore Soufriere -it was easy to wander into town from the apartment. Arletta was great about arranging for drivers to the further sites (eg Gros Piton hiking trail) and back to the airport.
it was a unique experience. Boutique feel hotel. very accommodating. Breakfast was complimentary. There were a lot of activities to do. Nice pool area. Open concept room. The view!
