The ryokan is located next to a stream in a valley in the national park. It ticks all the boxes. My tatami room was very comfortable and the outdoor onsen bath next to the stream and the woods was quite magical.
Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Iruka Hotel is set right in front of the ocean in Shiretoko, a world heritage site. Free private parking is available on site.

Amazing view. The spacious room was clean and well-equipped. The space and equipment for laundry was perfect. The common areas were very clean and comfortable. It was relaxing, and I particularly enjoyed the view from my window-along with the sunset, there was a family of foxes I spent hours watching.
Boasting dazzling sea and mountain views, Shiretoko Noble Hotel offers hot spring baths and a restaurant. It has Japanese-style and Western rooms, some with an outdoor hot spring with sea views.

Great location, just seconds away from the bus station and near the main spots to visit in Utoro. Everything is clean and has a new feeling to it. The hostess was really kind, and we spoke both in japanese and english. The food is also delicious, and quite different from what I had tried so far in Japan, really recommend trying it out. This part is not related to the accomodation, but if you want to book a tour of the Five Lakes area (mandatory in bear season), I really recommend Hataya-san from Shinra, a tour company with an office close by. The experience is really worth it, and it includes transportation between your accomodation and the Five Lakes.
Located in Shari and only 500 metres from Shiretoko National Park, Shiretoko Yuhi No Ataruie Onsen Hostel provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking.
