Nicely located, very quiet ryokan next to a Buddhist temple. While it doesn't privde the highest standard, it has al the amenities you may need, an onsen, good food, comfy futon and nice tatami flooring. What a great place to stay! We stayed in the Moon room, large room with very comfortable bed and a lovely deck outside to sit and enjoy the mountain sounds. The shared bathroom was really nice and comfortable too. I was slightly worried about sharing a bathroom but it was totally fine. It’s large, modern and there’s lots of amenities.

Perfect location - just a hop to the JR station. The room rather spacy, fridge or electric kettle included. The owners were helpful in general (but see "dislike" section). We saw a nice kitchen on the 1st floor, but did not use it. Futons were comfy, although the pillows were... hmm, filled out with something really hard (buckwheat?), but in the end weren't that bad.
