We took a taxi from the Shinkansen station to the property but other than that the location of the hotel was very convenient and close to all of the shopping and dining in the main downtown area. Walking distance from the Gion area and the train station to get to all of the major sites. There is a 7-Eleven right outside the hotel and a bunch of shopping and dining around the area. The hotel itself was clean and modern and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a convenient coin laundry if needed. It is self-check-in and check-out.
