Its also a beautiful n lavishly appointed hotel and one of its many claims to fame is being the site of a G8 Summit hotel in 2008. It has many lovely restaurants, a great onsen plus a nice golf course to boot. Locals regard this hotel as Hokkaido's most prestigious hotel, and one can fully understand once you stay there. The staff are so professional and courteous fm the doorman to everyone you come into contact as they all seem so conscious they have a very high reputation to maintain as The Top hotel in the region. The view is super amazing as we got the room facing Lake Toya. Bed is comfortable and the room is spacious too. There is bathtub inside the bathroom and you can have a good soak while enjoying the scenery outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful too.

After reading the reviews, I feel that the breakfast and dinner buffet are better than expected. They might had change the menu but we enjoyed our meals there. We managed to catch the fireworks right at our balcony too
