Wonderful hotel for families with young children. Our kids were delighted with the play room indoors and the playground outdoors. We also rented bikes through the hotel and took two day trips with the children in a trailer which was fantastic as the area is very beautiful.

We loved the indoor swimming pool and all the wellness facilities. Also breakfast was good. Lovely setting in the park and the proximity of the lake. Many opportunities for trips in the region.
The trolley for the baggage is very useful - we do not see it in many hotels.

The hotel bar was incredibly cheap and was super welcoming, I felt like a local. The spa facilities were pretty good, but the Turkish bath was broken which was a shame. Breakfast was pretty good, I even got to try honeycomb! The room was cute and felt kinda Austrian, especially with the balcony view. On that point we were upgraded to the balcony view, which was lovely. Location was pretty good, as you were really up in the mountain.
The Astoria offers a panoramic terrace overlooking the surrounding Alps and nearby Lavarone Lake, just 500 metres away. Parking is free at the Grand Hotel, and rooms are elegant.
