I Loved the Personal family feel of the place, though it is old but well maintained, one could feel the warmth and love put into the hotel. I also loved that it was a quiet town and not packed with people/tourists. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly.
Featuring a garden with children’s playground and free Wi-Fi throughout, Casina Della Burraia offers rooms a 15-minute drive from Subbiano. The property breeds animals and produces jams.

This was a fabulous place to stay. Eliana was a delight and she treated us royally. We took some lovely walks and would one day love to return. Wished we could stay longer.

A beautiful property in an incredible setting. The staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. The property has recently been lovingly restored into a perfect small bed and breakfast hotel. We also enjoyed an excellent lunch on their terrace. There is a great choice of restaurants in nearby Arezzo but a car is needed.

Subbiano is a small town in the valley from Arezzo to Bibbienna on the SR71. It's got some modern ribbon development which joins the town to Capolona. The SR71 is quite a main road with a lot of heavy good traffic but the noise is not intrusive and there is a bypass around the towns themselves which has a peaceful central area with a few shops, bars and restaurant. The river is very picturesque and has some huge trout-looking fish in it.
It's a great base for exploring Tuscany and the local area. There are national parks further up the valley for trekking and mountain biking. Glorious scenery around the town with thick woodland as well as the Tuscan pastures and Cypress trees. The really noticeable thing for me was the birdsong, it was everywhere and gorgeous.
I stayed in great accommodation so was happy to stay in the area as well as travel around.
Wonderful time, vacation of my life. Rosita, Mauro and Rachel are a wonderful family. We spent together few evenings, that we will remember for a loooong time. We left Casa Renacci few days ago, but we already plan next year to come back. The view is absolutely amazing. The location is on the mountain so it's always few degrees less, than in the cities, which especially in summer is very nice.
Arezzo - 15-20min, Florence, San Gimigiano - 1,5h, Cortona - 1h.
Stayed in Chenno for two nights with a group of musicians from Ukraine
The location is superb - Subbiano is a quiet and beatiful town. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean, breakfast is basic but very good - coffee, youghurt, toasts and a very tasty cake!
Thank you for your hospitality and sorry for us being too loud on the first night!:)
