Gorgeous location in Tuscany country side, Hard to get to specially at night driving on dirt rood. It is very close to Saturina mineral baths that is why I chose this place to begin with.
Il Melograno Country House is located on a hilltop and provides scenic views of Montemerano and surrounding olive groves.

The room was large, even by European standards. We had room to move and not bump into walls and furniture. There is a restaurant next door that has a truly traditional Italian dinner which was delicious and fascinating to see and eat. The hosts are incredibly kind and accommodating. We do not speak Italian but we did not feel remotely misunderstood or unable to communicate; they were charming and very friendly. The breakfast was amazing. I wish that we had been able to try the omelette that was offered but we filled up on the pastry, fruit, salami, cheese, and yogurt so were too stuffed for more. And as a person with food allergies I loved being able to eat all that was offered. A truly exceptional stay and would choose again in a heartbeat.
This Tuscan villa, designed by Paolo Portoghesi, is immersed in the green landscape of the Tuscan hills and overlooks the Valley of Saturnia. It features a wellness center and free Wi-Fi throughout.

What an amazing stay! It truly embodied the essence of the Italian countryside. From arrival to departure, everything flowed smoothly thanks to the welcoming staff. The room was a comfortable atmosphere with cozy linens and stunning views for both sunrise and sunset. The breakfast was delicious, complemented by a classic cappuccino offered upon entry to the main building. The presence of a friendly and beautiful dog wandering the grounds added to the charm. With numerous eateries just a short drive away and breathtaking hot springs nearby, the experience was unforgettable. I felt completely at ease and would highly recommend it for anyone seeking a tranquil city escape!

A great breakfast. Very friendly host that does not speak English, but it was truly no problem with the efforts of both of us to communicate. A nice place for a short stay to enjoy nearby Saturnia. The host lets you park with a resident's discount there. We also enjoyed having a small fridge in the room

Saturnia has been a lovely place to spend a couple of days.
Saturnia has been a lovely place to spend a couple of days. We visited both the official Terme di Saturnia, but also the wilder Cascate del Mulino and enjoyed both (in different ways obviously).
For the Cascate I would suggest going early in the morning on a weekday, so that they are not too crowded. While the official Terme are nice to be enjoyed at any time really, and the ticket to get in is not expensive at all on my opinion.

A relaxing break from the tourist spots around Italy.
A relaxing break from the tourist spots around Italy. Since you have to rent a car to get there we did not encounter many other Americans.
The hot springs is as beautiful and relaxing as the pictures and videos you see on social media.
There’s a quant town (Saturnia) down the road with a handful of restaurants and a beautiful square locals hang out in with the kids.
Also close by is a hot springs resort that you get a discount day pass to with something like 20+ pools and full spa that we spent the day at.
I can’t recommend this place enough.
As a professional photographer it hurts me a little they don’t have pictures that do it justice.

We didn't spend any time in the town of Saturnia because it is small and not much to do after we spent a couple weeks in Venice, Florence, Cinque Terre, and other Tuscan cities. We mostly just relaxed at our Saturnia Tuscany Hotel, the Terme di Saturnia Spa & Resort, and the Saturnia hot springs. It might be the most beautiful place in Tuscany and possibly all of Italy. Visit the hills of Saturnia if you want to relax and enjoy the beauty of what Tuscany is. We spent 3 days and it was completely rejuvenating after a couple weeks of being on-the-go. We also drove which takes the fun and exciting adventure to a whole new level if you are use to driving in the United States.

The Thermal Spa/Golf Resort for an afternoon was enchanting.
The Thermal Spa/Golf Resort for an afternoon was enchanting. The facility was large and reasonably priced. The sandwiches were delicious and the pools varied in temperature. The overall experience was relaxing and enjoyable, not far from our lodging. The town of Saturnia was quaint and closed up in winter. We dined at DaMario, quality food so worth it!
The room was very clean and adequate! The terrace had a lovely view of Tuscany. The friendly hostess tried her best to communicate, the phone translator was helpful . She made a dinner reservation since off- season the chioces were limited. The bountiful breakfast was delightful. We enjoyed the Thermal Spa/Golf Resort with the town of Saturnia perched above. We did go to see the natural springs as well.
If you're planning on going to the Saturnia hot springs, this B&B is perfect. It's only a couple of minutes away by car, so you can get up early and get there before it gets crowded. I loved the little balcony in our room, it was so nice to sit outside and look out at the beautiful scenery. The complimentary breakfast is also great, a lot of variety and good quality. The staff is very kind as well.
Very close to Saturnia Springs. They also had a discount for the parking at the springs (4 euro) and a discounted rate for spa services at a local resort (25 euro for each person)
Breakfast was yummy, staff was great.
Most of it is a farm-to-table breakfast.
Very welcoming. It was clean and quiet. Perfect place to relax.
staff suggested local events going on in the small towns nearby.
Wonderful cozy hotel in a beautiful and calm location.
Rooms are big and comfortable.
Breakfast is excellent. Huge selection of delicious and homemade food with fresh vegetables, fruits and cheese.
Termas de Saturnian is very close.
It was very pleasant to walk in a large and green area.
We liked everything and grateful to the owners for the warm hospitality.
Amazingly quiet and clean, great welcome and assistance during our stay from Giulia and Luca. Full household facilities.
Very close to the Saturnia Hot Springs and great location to visit Scansano, Manciano, Pitigliano and all the typical Tuscany villages and hills.
Delicious swimming pool and gardens.
Great Location with friendly service. Sent videos and helpful directions using What's App...it's a little hard to find.
Took the time to book the following Hotel for us and noticed it was my Birthday and advised me the "private" Hot Springs pool was free for me! Breakfast was lovely!
Rosetta is as sweet as can be and very attentive to everyone’s need. On top of that she prepares a banquet breakfast with homemade cakes, pies, all sorts of goodies and a monster cappuccino. Definitely will return there for a future visit to the Saturnia thermal spring.
it was such good value for money in a prime location in Saturnia! we lucked out with a last minute booking & were stoked. only a 2 minute drive from the natural pools & loved having breakfast on the patio in the morning. amazing value for a budget hotel!
The owner was very friendly and helpful
Pool area has a lot of space and is big enough for a swim
Location is a bit off everything but this have been expected by us
To Saturnia it's only a few minutes drive down
Nicely tucked away on the outskirts of Saturnia, the outdoor breakfast area was a delight and Cica the dog kept everybody entertained.
Very thoughtful to have flyscreens on the door, had the best sleep.
The location was great especially if you plan on going to the Saturnia hot springs. The property is located at a short walking distance to the hot springs. As for the breakfast, it was excellent!
The location was great for the town of Saturnia and the Hot Springs. The facilities were good, the shower pressure was good and the balconies made for great views of Tuscony.
