We flew into Palermo , ( and in April with fewer tourists) and had 10 days in Sicily, so it was a great starting place, in the west , but having driven all the way through to the east , along south east coastal roads , mainly to see Catania, Syracuse , Taormina , Cefalu, it was a long way . Messina was big city and not very interesting

We went to San Vito specifically for the Cous Cous festival.
We went to San Vito specifically for the Cous Cous festival. It’s less crowded in late September and the weather is still good. We’ve also visited at Easter time. Don’t expect a beach holiday in April, just relaxation by the seaside.
I would suggest eating at Cric e Croc restaurant and of course, eat seafood Cous Cous.

San Vito Lo Capo is a lovely town situated at the end of a peninsula on the other western side of Sicily, about an hour and a quarter from Palermo Airport.
There is a fantastic beach to enjoy during the day and an ample array of local shops, restaurants, bars and local eateries. I glad to say the are no multi national fast food outlets at all. You can park on street at a cost and for those requiring long stay facilities there are car parks... they're not overly expensive, but they are secure and convenient.
We will return another day for sure!

The most beautiful beach in Sicily - clean turquoise warm water. But to many people, toilets on the beach fo 1 euro, showers for 3 euro! The restaurants are mediocre and overpriced. If you eat in the cheaper ones you pay a lot for "coperto" - the price is written nowhere in the menu. So wherever you eat you pay the same. Touristy place. No night life. Family and kids place. I liked the chess tournament they had.

Little historic town with beautiful church the view was amazing with clouds gliding through the mountains in the morning. With the amount of restaurants you could choose virtually anything to eat. Exceptional local kitchen, plenty of sunshine and most beautiful beach makes this place special. You can even climb up the mountain and the view is gorgeous. Make sure you don’t wear flip flops like me ;)

It is beautiful place. I like design of the room. It was comfort and very clean. It was cleaned every day. The most beautiful was terrace and view over the sea. All staff was very kind. The beach is 2 minutes by walk and it’s nice. There are also voleyball, tenis and basketball court by the beach what we very aprreciated. There are a lot of restaurans and some shops around and nice place for walks. I recommned to visit Zingaro National park and Caletta blue Marino. This hotel is great point for trips around I recommend it.
The location was super...approximately a 30 second stroll to the beach for my morning swim! All of the restaurants were within walking distance which I really enjoyed. I felt very safe as a female traveler too. The hotel owner Antonio was very friendly without intruding. I really enjoyed the tranquility of the hotel and surrounds.
The apartment is about 8 minutes drive from San Vito Lo Capo, but felt a world apart in the remote countryside. We loved the beautiful views, the quiet nights, and easy access to several stunning beaches, including the Zingaro Reserve. There was no staff on-site, which was a bonus for us, but may not be ideal for everybody.
Very modern and very clean, well furnished even if it was a small room.
The position is near the main roads of San Vito, where you can find everything Sicily can offer.
The breakfast is home made and of very quality.
The host is very helpful
The option of using a parking pass for a small price is vital in San Vito
Excellent location, lovely rooms, nice breakfast. Exceptional staff. Their restaurant - Rais - was one of the best we have ever eaten, not only in Sicily but in Italy!
They also have a "pizzaria" that would be perfect for vegetarians as well. A true entrepreneurial family that cares about ensuring a perfect trip!
Nice little hotel in the center of the village, beach, restaurants and shops nearby. Not so easy to find though and no parking (paid parking nearby). Room was modern and comfortable, nice bathroom with moorish tiles. Very gentle and helpful owners and good breakfast.
The hotel has exceeded our expectations. For 3 stars it is a very good level. A very friendly and helpful service on the reception, amazing breakfast with local pastries. The location is 200 m from the beach and alm the restaurants are very close to the hotel.
We had a really nice stay in San Vito Lo Capo. The accommodation was beautiful and clean and the owners made us feel very welcome. They even had a few bikes which you could just take to go to the centre and the beach, which you can reach in 5 min.
Central location, good amenities and standard breakfast. We unfortunately had to change hotels because of the uncomfortable bed and loud noise due to thin walls. There is a walkable, free, safe parking lot on the east side of town.
Really helpful and friendly staff. Great location, very close to beach. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Carpark is a few minutes drive from the hotel but there is a free shuttle to and from the hotel so was very convenient.
Perfect location for relaxed holidays just a few steps away from the beatiful beach. All-inclusive facilities like: sunbeds, parasol, SUP, barbecue, hammock, fully equipped kitchen...
We spent some grear days in San Vito lo Capo!
Beach is 2 minutes away. The hotel section of the beach is looked after by Kamel who was extremely pleasant and helpful.
The room was in a nice large villa, comfortable with excellent cleaning services.
Breakfast was good.
Host was great! Room was very close to beach with a sea view. Hotel had its own beach chairs that were available for a small fee. The town was cute, the beach was beautiful with white sand. Nice breakfast.
This is a lovely hotel. Everything feels new and modern. Good size room, comfortable bed and great shower. Good breakfast in the morning. Close to beach and town.
Location excellent , host very helpful .Terrific outside space right on the beach and ,1 km from center .Plenty of restaurants open in October . Sea crystal clear
The location was great and the beach was very close. The chairs were a bit more expensive at the hotel's beach, but they provided us with towels which was great.
