I travelled to San Vincenzo for sailing.
I travelled to San Vincenzo for sailing. Given the relatively large marina and the geographical location close to Elba and Isola Capraia, Vincenzo is a great starting point for a sailing holiday. Beyond that, the city also offers some interesting sightseeing and a nice old city centre with a beautiful pedestial zone with numerous restaurants.

Traditional yet modern beach resort.
Traditional yet modern beach resort. Mainly visited by Italian. Great selection of beaches and places to eat. Clothes shopping is okay but not on a par with inland towns like Sienna, Lucca and Arrezzo.

A beautiful small town where you can find small traditional restaurants with very nice staff. The best local pizzeria is called BLUE MARLINE PIZZERIA RESTAURANT. I really recommend this restaurant to everyone...
in the city of San Vincenzo itself, however, we really enjoyed a restaurant called Vineria Etrusca in the center. The service, as well as the food, was very poor, we definitely do not recommend this restaurant, it was a very Italian disappointment...

A nice, lively town on the beach.
A nice, lively town on the beach. There are plenty of shops, a big coop and restaurants in San Vincenzo. And there are a number of beautiful historic towns and villages in the hills in the area often also with very good restaurants. It is easy to visit them by car. There are bus services to most of them but buses often do not run frequently. There are train services from S. Vincenzo Railway Station to Pisa and Grosseto and a some even to Rome and Florence.
San Vincenzo tends to get crowded on weekends and in the high season and then it is advisable to book tables at restaurants in advance.

San Vincenzo is a reasonable seaside town in Tuscany.
San Vincenzo is a reasonable seaside town in Tuscany. Having spent some time in the area over many years, we got to really enjoy the whole surrounding area. Beaches nearby are some of the best, a short drive south of the town being our favourite. Great for kids with nice sandy beaches, shower/toilet facilities, life guards in summer and generally small or no waves. Some great restaurants and of course wonderful wine and oil country surround. Also nice is this town somewhat lives all year unlike some parts of the Tuscan coast, so visiting out of the main season you won't find a closed town.
Absolutely perfect in every way. This is the perfect place for an agriturismo stay with young children. Our apartment was really comfortable with a small kitchen with everything you need. The garden is beautiful and the pools lovely, set up to let your little ones play and run around. Breakfast is a feast of fresh fruit, cheese, ham, cereal, bread and cake. Above all every member of staff is so helpful, caring and hospitable. Faultless!
A 5 min drive to town, the beach and some really great restaurants.
The house is well situated almost right next to the beach. The atmosphere inside the casa offers a probe into authentic Italian culture. The view of a sundown from the balcony is just breathtaking, especially while drinking your favorite beverages with your friends. Do you want to spend time by the beach ? Rent this house. Do you want to spend your time traveling ? Rent this house.
Everything.
The villa has an amazing view and all that you need for a great vacation.
Located nearby to a lot of famous historical places and to Michelin restaurants with delicious dishes. The local wine is just WOW and it was just beautiful to spend an evening under Tuscany sky, with a local amazing wine looking to the sunset and sea ❤️
Wonderful gem of a hotel. We had a great apartment with ocean view and balcony. The staff were lovely. The breakfast area is really nice. The indoor pool was great. I would definitely stay here in the mud season to enjoy San Vincenzo, take beach walks, eat good seafood, and enjoy the hotel's pool and Jacuzzi. So great!
I liked the near location to the sea. We only had to walk 2 minutes and we had our deck chairs and umbrella from the Hotel. It was very quite at night. I like that. Besides, the breakfast was very nice and it had a great selection of food. The room was nice and big. Besides, it was very clean.
Very beautiful apartment with typical Tuscany look. Nicely done surroundings, patio and little garden, place to walk dog and underground car park. Roberta is very nice and helpful host which will recommend you grate thinks to visit around.
And you can order fresh baked pastries everyday.
Gioia is an amazing host, always helpful to point us to good restaurants, helping with reservation. Being guests at the Happy Days villa has perks too, as Gioia knows everyone and her guests are given discounts. If you plan to stay in San Vincenzo, you should definitely stay here.
it’s a family run hotel and the proprietor is warm and welcoming, as are the other staff. the hotel is situated almost on the beach and you can hear the waves from the front bedrooms. The breakfast is also very good.
We loved the decor and room in this beautiful hotel, which is right on the beach. Perfect location in San Vicenzo. Staff was very helpful with parking, restaurants and stores in town, and helping us feel at home.
somewhat secluded house above San Vincenzo with stunning views of the sea. well-kept house with shady carport. The accommodation also includes a jacuzzi. Gate and lighting can be controlled remotely.
Actually it was ok. The room was extremely clean and big, but unfortunately the hotel in general is not very organised. The staff are very friendly, but unfortunately the breakfast was weirdly served.
Beautiful, clean boutique hotel. In a residential neighborhood with easy free parking. The staff were kind and helpful. The room was very clean and had an amazing a/c. Bountiful breakfast.
Privacy. Enough space. Don't hear much of road sounds or neighbors. Location good for beach and bus in direction to Piombino, also grocery shop not far away. Quiete well equipet kitchen.
Very nice and clean appartment in a quiet area. Close to the train station, the centre of San Vincenzo and the beach. Very friendly host. We can only recommend this appartment!
It was very central , close to restaurants/bars/ shops/ train station . It had a fabulous view of the marina from a spacious and furnished private terrace .
It is very close to the beach. The beach is calm and clean . Also breakfast in hotel is complete and all staff plus the owner are kind and good looking.
