We stayed at Cascina Canova a couple of weeks ago. We somehow managed to book the room for the wrong nights so effectively turned up a day earlier than our booking. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodated our error. They came out to give us the keys to the room late in the evening. The room was lovely, huge, very clean and good views, would definitely recommend.
Would recommend a car due to being a little rural. But that comes with quiet rural views.

There isn't a huge amount going on in the town itself but it is very well placed for Pisa and Lucca - both by road and rail. Very peaceful and great rural atmosphere. It is very attractive at the foot of the mountains. Not much in the way of restaurants and shops within walking distance of the station.

A quiet place on the outskirts of Pisa. The Hotel Bagni DiPisa lived up to its reputation as one of the leading hotels of the world. Facilities were amazing. Everything spotlessly clean and parking inside property literally at the front door of apartment. Very very good value for money. Will definitely revisit. Location cannot be better: 5 mins drive from Pisa and Lucca. Highly recommended.
